No, its just catback for now. If I go boost at some point I'll probably redo it all, but until then it'll stay like this.
Also I got an email for underbody pics... I'll see what I can do later today
Yeah, who says Magnaflow is crap. Mine sounds almost exactly like that. I have that same setup except I have a Borla Turbo XL oval muffler instead of a Magnaflow oval muffler. Sounds grrrrreat!
were you really going 140? or is your speedo off?
^^ 140kmph not mph.. hes canadian.. they do things weirder up there

I wanted the underbody pics and pics of the setup. They would be great. Finally got your video to work and it sounds great. How did you use a muffler and a resonator cause it looks like you would just weld the tip on the resonator or I'm sure I am wrong. Your system is great and makes me want one exactly like it
Just give me some more info on it (cause I don't know much about exhausts)
^^^He used a 22" long round Magnaflow muffler for a resonator, and then a 5x8x18 Magnaflow oval muffler as the main muffler. Sounds really sweet IMO.
Okay so are the two "mufflers" connected or is there piping between them? And the tip is on the smaller main muffler right?
Go have a look at your stock piping, thats exactly how I have mine setup, only my resonator looks a LOT longer than the stock one.
It's not any different from your stock layout, so go have a look at how yours goes. I had them make a flange at the end of my resontator to attach to the stock cat in case I ever wanted to remove the system. Anyways, from there it goes directly to my resonator, pipe takes the stock route, goes over axel, then gets to the oval muffler, then theres a small pipe that goes downwards (check your stock to see what I mean), which goes to the tip. Following the stock path just keeps it cleaner, you cant see the muffler at all.
Now keep in mind, I didnt get the polished stainless stuff simply because my cars not a show car, and shiny things get cops attention
I picked my stuff based sound and performance. Also, it hasnt had a bath in a week so its pretty nasty down there.
Will the polished stainless stuff really effect sound and performance that much? Is yours rusting or yellowing or is that just dirt? I just love your setup. How much did all this cost (parts + custom piping)? Thanks for all your help on the subject
Okay, so I just went to hottexhaust.com and all the parts are $153.40. So now how much was you custom piping and did you say you had it done at Midas? Is there ANY other things you did to your system? How was dealing with Midas? I have heard many different opinions about them. Thanks again for the info
OKI, i'm stupid, cuz i when i open the link, all it ends up saying that it's done downloading, on the left bottom corner........
and i end up with a blank white screen....
wait for it... wait for it... NOW GO!! ---> '02 LS Sport <---

WOW, that sounds really good man
Can you hear it at steady RPMs? Or is it relatively quiet? I'm looking at redoing my exhaust this spring, and I like how yours sounds when you stomp on it, but its hard to tell if you can hear it at lower rpms and steady rpms. I'm just thinking a loud setup would drive me crazy on long trips..
FINE work though man, it sounds great
Yea at lower and steady rpms how loud is it?
If I'm cruising at 90-95km or so in 5th, you can tell its there, but its REALLY faint - I would say its comparable to my mom's 03 automatic sunfire GT with duals at cruising speeds and low RPM. I know what youre talking about though woot, I REALLY hate the droning noise that some systems make, but this exhaust is fine even for me. Obviously if you're going up a slight incline and have to put the pedal down a little, its gonna be louder than you're used to, but theres not much you can do about that.
I have a small clip I could upload for you to get the idea, but its mainly road noise you're gonna hear - my winter tires are noisy lol.
BTW people who are wondering why the incar isnt working, I took it off the net because JCO folks got upset that I was speeding...

Do you loose that much horsepower and how does it affect sound? Thanks again for the info
I was wondering if i could get a few pics of the back half of the exhuast from the underside? like the muffler and that area? And thanks for all the info you've psoted up so far....
