Nari's Day Out (56k maybe?)
Monday, March 06, 2006 6:12 PM
Alright, well today's been an interesting day for me.

I'll skip out on the unneeded parts and hop to what happened.

Well A few months ago I realized that my front passenger tire had gone bald along the outside edge. I thought it was pretty akward. And not having any money I drove it like that for a while.

Well today I had enough cash saved for some new tires... So I got em. And I figured I might as well get an alignment. I got reccomended to this place down in Mission Valley in San Diego California and took my car to them.

They quickly came back telling me I would need more than just the alignment. The mechanic took me outside and showed me my brake line hose. The person who did my brakes last (I was in a hurry and took it to Les Schwab) about 2 months ago, routed the hose improperly so it was rubbing hard against something down there, and apparently had gone unnoticed. Had they not told me. My car would have/ could have lost brake pressure and well... no brakes. due to the fact that the hose was worn so thin.

And of course. When alignment came... The thing wouldn't align right.

Apparently the person who had drove the car before me, beat the @!#$ out of it. I have always known this, but I had no idea how badly this was done.

Apparently the strut would need some slight modification to be able to get the camber right for my car. Explaining why my tires wore out so strangely.

So... I let the guys go ahead and do their work, they were great about it and I'm glad they got everything taken care of. The car actually feels better since they fixed my camber.

But now.. the real point of this post...

I've been travelling around with these low profiler ugly as hell 205/ ?? R 17's. Rode like crap. Sounded like crap. And generally looked like crap as you can see in this picture here.

Well.. that's all in the past....

Today I have picked up some of these!

KUMHO Ecsta ASX 225/45 R 17's!!!

God the car is sexy. I could use some decent coils suspension wise but hey! I'm not one to complain. I got me some new tires.

Here are the pics. Enjoy
