I can't believe I actually did suspension on my car, I was dead set against it a year ago.. but for whatever reason I changed my mind, and just judging by the look a mild drop gives, I'm glad I did.
The car isn't road ready yet so I have no idea how this setup rides, but they're on the car none-the-less. Thanks Arnjolt for all the major help
Tein H-Tech springs on KYB AGX struts.
The rear sits higher than the front. That is the way they are designed.
Before the drop:
They were JUST installed, and have had ZERO road time so they haven't settled, but its definately a noticable drop in the front, and a mild one in the rear.
.. and a sneak peak at the engine bay.. ignore the mess, we're still working on it...
More to come.. still have a bunch of crap to finish installing.. but it's getting there...
You got one sweet ride there my friend...awesome paint with matching rims...winning combination in my own opinion of course...
Trying for the JBof Ontario show by chance?
Silver Stripey makes your Day!
much better. i'm glad you decided to lower it
Looks real good.....i know mine wanted to scrape a lil in the front when i had mine lowered with the eibach pro kit but I also live in PA and the roads are crap.
how low is that drop...i got the same kit and i am 3.5-4 inches lower than factory and plan on going up....i got a 2 inch drop waiting to go on
That looks sweet buddy, just be extra careful now
My car sits about 5" off the ground now with the drift kit. I think I ended up losing about an inch or so of wheelgap in the front, and maybe half an inch in the rear.
Thanks guys.

It doesn't have headlights at the moment
Question: Do the agx install(cutting stock housing) like the koni's or full replacement like the d-spec's? Thanks for any info. By the way, the car looks hot with or without the drop. One of my fav white cavys.
wow thats nice now i know how my car is going to be set up
i got the same springs orderd

They're direct replacements...
Gary, it looks good with or without the drop.
Im the bad apple cause that car isnt my taste at all.
Heres some things I dislike:
1. Graphics.
2. Tailights.
3. Your lowered, but your wheels look like pizza cutters on there, so small, with that body kit you need a bigger wheel and probably something with a lip.
4. Your firewall is very dirty.
5. Your valve cover looks nasty.
6. Too many loose ends in the engine bay, is that blue wire supposed to be a grounding kit?

Everyone has different tastes and I respect that you don't like certain things about his car but this thread is about his car being lowered, not an overall view of what you like and don't like. The only comment you made that was relavent to this thread was the 3rd one. But whatever, it's your opinion.
Gary, the drop finally happend...thank god! Good job homey.

The front is definately lower than the rear. The rear springs are taller than the front ones, I didn't really even need a spring compressor to install the front ones..

Yep, they are direct replacements. Pretty easy to install too.

Thats cool.. everybody's tastes are different.
1. Graphics - I have some plans to work on these a little bit.. we'll see if they take shape or not heh..
2. Tailights - They're better than the red reflector
3. I've thought about getting bigger rims, but the tires are still new so I probably wont for a while.. I'm going to fill them out with big brakes instead for now.
4 & 5. I said "ignore the mess I'm still working on it"
My engine bay has never been cleaned... I've got a lot of work to do in there.. I'm also planning to powdercoat the valve cover.
6. Yes the blue wires are a grounding kit.

Hehe.. motor work.. nah i spent a small fortune on this car already.. i've got no desire to pay another one at the pump this summer
the car looks 100x better with the new drop. I think all J's should be lower in the front then the back, and not vice versa.
