ok.. I have posted a couple pics of it getting worked on last week.. and trickled a few pics here and there night and from my phone, so I thought I would post some day pics for a change
A week ago today it didnt have the lambos, the interior was stripped out and filled with trash, the side strikes were off, sides werent on right, trunklid holes, not shaved, all different colors, no wiring harness, didnt run, and no speakers and a blown CD player and it looked like this :
NOW.. thanks to all my friends, Ryan at Pro Auto and everyone who helped in the prolly the week I worked the hardest in a long time ( car and work is all I did.. no sleep barely ) it has come to this.
The primer got to the weather too soon and faded and striped, but its ok.. paint isnt too far off.. better than 5 colors, and we are working on a bracket for the front bumper. Now its alright on the outside, inside, and have a cheap system, so its ok to drive til I get more work, but major progress !
Comments welcome, thanks for putting up with all the progress pics this week !

i think that you need a gloss black
and some black rims with a deep dish
that would look hott
and why haven't they painted the inside of the doors below the door panels
and sills?
we didnt paint the jambs because Im getting it painted red and black, and we didnt have a ton of time in the shop, so I got it one color to see how it all looked together, but if I make it GM Bright Red again.. it wont need the jambs repainted
but since it got done..im thinking black somewhere in the paint, either all black, or red and black 2 tone
.
.
Thanks guys.. like I said.. not done at all.. but a lot of progress for a week
Ozzie -
Ive wanted these back and forth for over a year... I think im in love with them, its gonna be those or the ones in my sig
.
.
id liek to see those on it^
nice kit combination. i'm glad the front bumper worked out for ya
^^ How did you get the bumper to sit up straight? The Crushguard wont fit even when it was trimmed and I have to come up with some kind of bracket so it doesnt sag.. fits perfect when I hold it up, but it doesnt hold up on its own
.
.
if you go with red again, the ones in your sig
if you paint it black, the other ones

i trimmed a lot of my crushguard to get it to fit. in order to fix the sagging i used a few screws in the middle section between the headlights. i lifted the bumper to where it fit perfectly and then shot the screws through the center section of the bumper and into the metal impact bar. held up really well with no sagging. here are a few pictures of what i am talking about.

Car looks good, but i honestly think a Type J front to go with the rest of the kit would look badass
very nice, i think that front goes together with the car very nicely.
looks great
Thanks for the comments guys
Keep them coming.. I couldnt do the Type J front bewcause I had 95-99 headlights, and I dont think the Type J looks that great, some with the Drift sides and rear, and I thought the kits were close enough to get them to match up well
Ill work on that front soon

I think that if you do the two tone red on top, black on bottom, those black rims would look AWESOME. Lookin' good, btw! Meant to post in this earlier and got sidetracked, so I came back to it. lol

lol.. better late than never
Comments are ALWAYS appriciated, I will keep that in mind, I bought myself some time to decide on paint w/ the primer, I think wheels and paint are gonna come last and I am gonna work from the inside out now
.

Jeff when we gonna work on that bumper? I have an idea that doesn't involve wood.
