looks good man, I put mine in the same spot
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
Im not sure if rain will affect the BOV at all but looks good from where im standing. Heres where i placed mine at.
im not genious on boost but i thought your BOV was suppose to be 6-8 inches from your TB...
Supposed to be closer to the TB, also consider all of the crap and dirt that's going to get into it in that position. You're supposed to mount the BOV in a spot where it will remain clean, otherwise you'll have to remove it often to clean the piston out and make sure its well oiled.

mabye in the cracks and crevices. but the only time your chrage pipes interior will be exposed. lbs and lbs of air will be rushing out of it.
Im a level 32 joedm newb flamer.
In no way was I insinuating that dirt woudl get INTO the intake system. I'm talking about the BOV itself and how it operates.

Hmmm... I want people to know my car is turbo whle it is going down the street.... but I don't want them to know it is turbo when it is parked.... Just my personal opinion. You know how things go up missing around our way.
Looks good though man.... tell brittany it's ok to kill puppies for fur coats.

not the best position but cool set up anyways
"Projeckt Z24": PHASE ONE....
The company that built my kit - Custom Tubes - builders of high horsepower racecar headers and stuff - put the blow off valve about 10 inches from the turbo - its at the passenger side rear of the motor....
Just thought I'd throw that in for more info to debate....

Thanks for the input guys, i think ill leave it there for now, im keeping the car in a fenced in lot most of the time so hopefully it wont get stolen, but yeah, i know how that goes around here, cars been broken into several times already. But that was before the 6 ft privacy fence and 2 dogs that stay outside.
Oh, yeah Josh, brittany and her animals.... serious stuff, i dont mess wit her bout it.lol.
Yeah, mine is generally in the same spot:
But... my intake pipe is only another 18" long or so, if that, after the BOV. It will also be getting a filter put on it, and the car really doesn't see more than 8k miles a year or so now, if its lucky.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
The positioning is ok, but who welded it? Stevie Wonder?
I have an idea... make a "fake foglight" lens to help shield the BOV and provide a little stealth to it...

Oh, and about the welding, lol. Well my friend dropped his welder off and left. And, well, thats how i learned how to weld. Never even been around a welder before, dont claim to know how to weld, just good enough to hold pressure. Its ugly, but it works.
My whole kit was pieced together, i really didnt have much money put into it, and dont really care if it puts down a whole lot of hp. It should do decent, but it was just a project for sh1ts and giggles. I also have a lot of cleaning up to do, but i havnt spent much time on it either.
