well ive been working on getting my airride in and needed to make a new box to make room. wanted something more simple then my last box so i went with a simple truck box style box angled and thin
heres a shot of the box almost ready to go with subs in it and an ugly brown cover.
oh that ugly brown cover was just hiding the black plexiglass.
and i couldnt just leave it plain, had to add my own touches to it, so i made a silver trim ring to go around it and then i came up with this scary addition. i drew it up in cad and plotted it out full scale. then just glued the paper to my board. was the easist way i could get a perfect design. it took me about an hour to cut out.
still have a few more hours of sanding to do on the front trim piece and then it will be off to the painter to be painted a deep glossy black i think it should turn out pretty good. definatly not something you see everyday wich was what i was going for. also ive recovered the rear deck in suede and the back end in this shot isnt finished, the silver button piece will be black. and the rear seats arent back in yet. im hoping to cover most of the black painted pieces over to black suede sometime soon.

heres part of my wiring for the audio system i may start competing with it in usaci events next season and for competiton you have to go above the standard install so heres a shot of my wiring. all my audio wiring is ran thru loomed wiring with heat shrinked ends as well as labels every couple of feet so each wires is easily recognisable. it also has extra protection from clear tubing when it passes near anything that could be considered sharp and it also secured to the car with straps.
heres a shot of what the trunk looks like right now. kinda bare can't work on anymore of the audio until i get the airride in and running good. hopefully soon.
ive got two kicker amps an phoenix gold eq 5 gallon tank, compressor crossover for my mids and highs, a fuse block and maybe a few tv's to fit in there. hopefully lol
and soon as i can get this thing to stop leaking on me i'll be able to get the car back on the ground.

everything looks great just like i expectied from you.
but i did notice one thing that you missed mabye you fixed it by now though.
in this pic i can see that the wood between the smallest ring and the inside of the largest is a little mis shaped, it kind of bows out. If you dont know what i mean let me know and i will point it out better on your pic. im not trying to be an ass but you said your going to compete with this so i figured you might want to fix that, if you havent already.
