ok, my fuel pump went out last weekend(hopefully its the fuel pump) and i got everything out just waiting till friday when the auto shop gets one in, so I have all this time and my cars not moving so I thought I would change some things up a little.
First the sad pic....
The new seats I got a few weeks ago but havent put the pics up here yet, I don't think...
Just got done doing some painting...
Cleaned up and did some painting to the engine and painted the cam cover and polished the letters....
Thats all I have done so far, hopefully it will be running again friday...(fingers crossed).
What did you use for paint on the engine?
Just Flat black High temp paint from the auto section at the SUPER Wal-mart!
looks real clean, but I'd add the factory front and rear lips. I've always like that style of seats. and good luck with that fuel pump, I've changed my sunfire's three times and my girl friends cavy pump once. I can do it in about 30mins now, the only real hard part is getting the tank back to were it needs to sit and be bolted up. I'd try to take out as much fuel as posible.

yeah I rarely if ever leave comments on pre 03 cars, but damn. you need a little bit more on the exterior and your set.
Im a level 32 joedm newb flamer.
Yes I know I need more on the exterior, but having just gotten married and paying for 99.9% of the wedding by ourselves and just buying a house and trying to refinish our basement the CF hood is about as far as I can get.
Thanks though.
love the seats, where from?
Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
They look like the Checker/Schucks/Kragen seats...

Love the seats, I want to pick up a pair of those but in cloth. The car looks great, bro, and the engine looks sweet.
Blown.
Forgot to ask before posting - did they come with sliders and/or brackets? Do the brackets work fine? Any overall opinions on the actual hardware? Do you remember how much the grand total came out to?
Blown.

I take it you are trying to fix those air leaks?
The seats came with sliders but no other brackets, I made some up using some steel and some directions Jason had. Overall I LOVE the seats they are very comfy and I have had many compliments on them. I got mine a little cheaper than usual becuase Jason had them at his shop and I went and picked them up and they were a little damaged, but nothing bad. I don't really know what he normally charges for them.
Even up on jack stands your car still looks good!!
oooooooooo engine looks great, wish mine was that clean!!!
nice car like the rims and the seats look great too..
