Ok my car is about to go in for paint to look like this below. This is a pic of my car with the paintjob photoshoped on there. Im about to order the CF headlight bezels and ive already got a CF hood. Should i do CF fenders too to go along with it and have them painted red below the line or should i just paint the black part on them?...not sure what to do people..Need some opinios plz..Thanks
that's a toughy... on one hand it would look real nice because it'd flow with the hood and headlight bezels... but only a small strip would be showing... on the other hand you could save some money if you just painted the top part black...
either way if it looks like that image it'll look pretty dang sexy
I'd say that IF you have the $$ to spare, it would look a lot better if the fenders were carbon fiber because then it would all flow really well. If not, they would still would look great just painted black. That looks HOT, btw.

scratch those side skirts and rear cause this was an older pic and now i have the drift sides and rear..Soo much better lookin
what I would do is keep the stock fenders, but incorporate the black into the hood slighly jsut so it flows a little better. like darkstarts did.

hit post instead of preview.. But I'm sure you see what I mean, just take what you posted, but have the black on the hood like the silver is done on his.

reasons why im doin this paint job:
1- its somethin simple and not overdone
2- it will be a cheaper paintjob
3-i havent seen another 3rd generation cavy done this way yet..but im sure there are a couple out there
Oh yea center piece of spoiler will be CF wrapped too as well as the CF tailight bezel. Hopefully it will all look good in the end..
do the CF fenders with the top of them showing and the rest painted red, that would be @!#$ sex if u ask me
they way it is there is very nice, i like it a lot
damn. thats nice. can ur make the red black and the black silver? Id like to see it tthat way.

that @!#$ is hot man, i love it just the way it is
i like it man would look good
mmm me likey!! make it look exactly like the pic...thats awesome. I like the idea of the half painted fenders, that would be wicked.
I think that would be sexy do it lol
if you have the extra money go for it but i think it will look good either way

I though the exact same thing.
the pic. looks good. go with that.
not to bust into this post but i figure, why start another for the same topic. i am looking at 2 toning my car, and the issue i am having, when doing an edge like above were there is not already a seam in the body, is there a way to prevent just an edge from apearing from were you had the one side masked off? i am afraid that it will leave a nasty edge... any experiance with this would be apreash. and for the record i plan on painting this my self, i have a few pannels/my brothers pos car to practice on, just would like to know any tricks of the trade i guess.... thanks
i think the black should carry through the back of the car and not end by the quater windows
The only thing that looks "bad" about it ... is the wheels need some powder coating. Either red or black. I like the color scheme that you have going on now. Just do a black "stripe" down the middle. Kinda like what you have now. If you dont know what I'm talking about. Just paint the trunk and the spoiler black as well. Then you will be looking pretty sweet.
