Rear seat Audio setup nearing completion

Well I just got the piping back from the shop.  I made a prototype from styrafoam, then the guy at the shop did some nice fabrication work for me (I guess that's why it's called custom pipe and tube bending ).  It is bolted down at the top and bottom of the car for a nice secure hold. The subs should be here by Wed this week, and the amps might take another 2-3 weeks .  Looks like I'll be hitting the JCO bash without any audio wired up since the amps won't be here in time...oh well...

I will feed the wiring through the piping and once I figure out the location for the connections for the amps I will cut some slits into the sides of the piping to bring the wires out from for a nice clean look.

I also have some chrome spray paint that i'll be spraying on the pipes to make them all pretty looking.

I'm still plugging away at finishing this car off for the year, but it's getting harder and harder finding time to do it since I have taken on a 2nd full time job for the summer.

I'll keep the pics coming of everything progresses.

3 Pics:

BTW, the 2 amps and 2 power caps will be mounted on the piping...but I'm debating if I'm mounting the power caps on there or if i'll mount them on the flat part between the two bottom subs...I'll figure the placement out once I get the amps.

ya, i do too

after taking a good long look at things, it will be best to have the amps on the bars, and the caps mounted in the middle bottom section.

Hopefully I can get some more work done on the car sunday, and ill take some more pictures.

just a thought you know they sell those led strips that you can put in your wheel wells well i was thinking put them on the back of the bars so that it would shine down on your box/speakers/caps so on so forth

man you know what would have been sweet if both the tubes were actually neon tubes or it being just a big neon light and have the amps still on there that would have been sweet. I mean see through durning the day lighted up at night.

well the tubes at the top does have neon lights inside of them. I'm looking for a fog machine to possibly hook up for shows aswell (still undecided).
