long weekend=almost boosted cavalier
i worked non-stop all weekend to try and get the car done. i've had most of the parts sitting in my room since march.
here's what i've got
T3 turbo
7 psi internal wastegate
intercooler
ebay manifold
2.5" downpipe...that was fun to make
2.5" charge pipes...still have some work to do on those
Turbo XS RFL blow off valve
AFPR
Adjustable FMU
Top feed conversion
Ford Red Tops
AEM UEGO wideband
Glowshift Boost gauge
and a bunch of other crap
hopefully i'll be able to finish up the charge pipes and exhaust after work tomorrow and have the car running by wednesday. i'm trying to get done so i can make it to the western pa meet on saturday.
i tried to clock the turbo downward to make life easier with routing the charge pipes but the damn internal wastegate was in the way. and yes, i think the intercooler is slightly off center.
comments are welcome, i don't care if they're positive or negative. if i have something wrong in my setup please jump right in and tell me what i need to fix before i start the car.
i thought i'd start off with something easy
and then i made a mess
here's my version of the top feed conversion.
one of my cats decided to bring me lunch today
and here is my messy engine bay
and the messy garage
my car is dirty
lots of gauges
fancy bezel i made and my @!#$ty looking interior
like i said, hopefully the car will be running by wednesday and i can get some vids
thanks for looking
is that dessert hanging from the rear view?
man you were not kidding about messy stuff lol but good stuff none the less
bring on the vids
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Not bad at all. The one thing i would change is the location of the intercooler. I would trim the rebar a little and bring it up to match the frt bumper more. Other than that, i like it.
top feed conversion...?
whats that again?
and it looks fun bro. good job
