So today we started working on my Cavalier, day 1... taking it out.

There it is.. just waiting for us to remove it...

Holding up the engine ghetto style..

Holding up the engine and tranny ghetto style..

And there it is, finally out..

What the tranny has been waiting for..

Finishing day 1..

And that's all for now, hopefully we'll finish up by sunday. I don't think I'll have the camera tomorrow, or Sunday, sorry guys.

yeah its a high stall.

so does the new converter just slip on between the trans and the motor right? can you do a bit of a install right up?

I would love to do this my self, thanks man.

basically take the tranny out and replace the converter

but while your there might as well change the pan, filter, fluids, and maybe even seals just since it's out

It lets you torque brake alot higher in the RPM range.. And yes, he has an auto.. Only autos have Torque Convertors.

this will also help out big time with turbo aplications with auto tranys... as i have done this to the gnx... hits 25-30psi almost instantly when launching hard off the line because of such a high stall torque converter... but when you get going to high it starts to become not to street friendly....

The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
