It was a Bogus deal i've not changed my profile in a long time. LOL I should probably update that. It was thru SCP and it was a PURE crock of pOO.
There are a few places out there not looking to screw you and what not. I'm just decided to do it all myself, so i dont have brand names plastered on
my cavy(s).

what kinda spoiler is that? anyways, i would have thought it was a bad deal from the beginning. why would someome give you 12,000 dollars anyways for a sponsorship. (not you,i mean in general)
Looks good. I would get rid of the foam filter. I had one of those and it fell apart. Go buy a k&n or a similar filter to replace the weapon R filter.
"Remember do what you like because you have to drive it."--Me
it's the only spoile i found on carbon fiber of it's kind. LOL took me a year to find it, got it off ebay. it's like a GT wing or something. it's universal.
The sponsorship was messed up you had $12,000.00 to use (which you had to pay 1/2 of everything bought out of pocket)tghen ontop of that
they wanted you to attend a minimum of 3 national shows (NOPI, HIN, ect) every year... after plastering a giant vinyl of thiers on yoru car. It didnt
covere paint, they gave you 10% off a turbo purchase.... I had every little thing done, so i said screw you guys and never signed the legal binding
document. Have to be very careful what you do/don't do these days especially with legalities. Being that i was 24.. i think i thought it over more.
had i been 19 or 20 i might not have milled over the decision very well at all
Im thankful i was older. lol
As for the filter head. I clean it about every 2-3 weeks to keep it clean, and all that crap filtering through to the motor (which they're natorious for)
if i could find a filter i could still use the housing/shroud on it i would buy a paperone in a heartbeat. Less worry & cleaning. But as long as you
stay ontop of it every couple of weeks and keep it oiled your fine.

might be a newb question but what kit is that? looks awsome man
Dark for fear of failure

are those steel z3 fenders?

Wings west Avenger Front, RK Sport Type J sides & Andy's Auto Sport Street Fighter Rear flows well i think.

Is there anyway you can get more angles of the vents? I wanted to do a steel Z3 setup just cause i think it would line up better and if it ever had to take little impacts better than the fiberglass. but im unsure of the slits. if you could thatd be great thanks.
I didnt insert them, they were bought as they are. Companies produce them just like that. Metal OEM Replica's. Do an ebay search
I do have "Fitment" issues on fender pinching occasionally though, so they're not perfect. they've held up excellently, only if they fit
JUST LIKE OEM............. I'd be super happy then. LOL hahah
ty for the comment on the front bumper.

i think he means he wants a picture of the vents to see how thin the z3 fins might look in steel. With fiberglass they would be more built up and in my opinion look better.

i like it. its nice how the avenger front complements the type j sides becauses of the flares. once painted, it will definitly looks even better
it's the thickness of the fender b/c they stamp the Z3's into it I'll try to get some better pics.
Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Old thread is old! But new updates, are new. ^_^
Since this.. I've done a lot of things.
Such as get rid of the spoiler i had on there for a few years, there was another thread about it.

After i did this, I had gotten my '06 Chrysler 300 in January of '10, to use as a daily driver and long distance driver for my Fiancee' Emily, and I. For trips and vacations we took. Not much was done in '10, due to a new car payment and such, plus I started school for Autobody & refinishing in August. This of course sparked the interest again to get some things done to it. So when I was able to bring in things of my own to work on in class I did.
First thing that was addressed, was my interior. For 9 years i've always wanted a nice finished show quality interior. Well now I have it!
I used 2k High build primer after aggressively sanding the plastic interior peices, to remove the pattern from the peices, so they would be smooth.
The Graphite color is a Ford color on Stangs and F1,2,350's. The green is a forest green metallic. Encased in
DeltronŽ Velocity Premium Clearcoat. DC4000.
I have yet to finish and pain the Dash, bezel and door covers. I'm still trying to get ideas for the door covers. The Dash, I took out, fixed the crack, fiberglassed it over and then started fabricating the space for a double din radio unit. Which took some foam, fiberglass work. It's not finished yet, but there's not much more to do. I had a filler hole below where the head unit goes and I decided to use a decorative name plate out of plexiglass, which will be backlit when finished. Still has some roughing out to do, and a lot of smoothing out, to do as well.
I also fiberglassed a '00 cavalier window switch, into my '99 center console, where the change holder was.
The top portion, where the vents were, will be toggle switches, where there is a square hole cut in the dash, there will be A voltage gauge there as well as below ther radio bezel where the ash tray was, there will be 2 gauges there. I'll try to get pics this week.
I pulled off the intake and the valve cover, sand blasted them, and repainted and cleared them HOK Kandy Organic Green .
I just got a new Optima redtop battery, for free (due to the other dying on me, 3 year warrentys are great!) and drove it into school yesterday, to begin all of the body work and prep for paint.

It will be stock Silver for '03's. I may do some graphics on it, as for right now I'm unsure. Want something simple and easy to fix if some douchebag hits, dings or rubs my car the wrong way.
Got a lot to do, main goal is to get teh car painted, the interior i can do at home.
