still under investigationi mean it just happend yesterday (Friday) night, and it wasnt even like it was in the middle of the night, we had just gotten to the apt's at like 10 and we found out about 11. He had $5000 worth of equipment. He now hads to look for another car today. and he only had liability. If this happened to me, i would still be crying. The good news is I have serial numbers for the amps at the shop and maybe we will get lucky and catch someone trying to install one, or get us to install one.

thats what happens when people put way to big of fuse for whats needed... they think bigger the fuse the more power will flow.... at least i have some friends that think that way.... they think my 80 amp fuse for my 600 watt amp isnt big enough but at 12 volts my amp should pull about 50 amps so infact its to large.... so i need to reduce it.. but thats what happens when either there is no fuse used or one to large......
sucks though i hope you find out who did it......
the front was fused the rear wasnt, but it was the cap that exploded first is what we have gathered so far
