How does your car sound with the new exhaust? I have custom 2.5" crush bent full exhaust on my car now, but I have been thinking about scrapping it for the pacesetter high flow cat and the same settup that you just got. I already have the pacesetter 4 to 1 header and I thought that it would be pretty cool to have the entire pacesetter exhaust. Would you recomend it to anyone else to get? Any feedback on if you like it and how it sounds would be greatly appriciated!! Thanks in advance!

yea, it sounds pretty good to me, im gettin the pacesetter header next week. i dont have the pacesetter cat tho, i have the magnaflow one. it sounds very good to me. not high pitched and loud. it is fairly deep in my opinion. im gonna let the guys in my group sajbody hear it soon, so they will also be able to add input on it.

It would be GREAT if you could get them to give me some feedback as well!! Thanks for you opinion. My car isn't loud at all and it has a fairly good tone because I have a dual flow muffler that circulates the exhaust through it twice to help keep it toned down. The main reason that I am wanting to ditch my current exaust is because I want to see if 2.25" is noticeable dif. then the 2.5" that I currently have on mine. BUT, I would like to make sure that I will have a good sound if I do change it. Thanks for you info so far! Keep me updated!

yes scrap it and get pace setter...and get em mandrel bent not crush bent...that way u get 2.5" throughout the entire piping...ive heard guys with borla and pace setter setups on their cars...sounds very nice

But, I thought pacesetter was 2.25" mandrel bent which is "supposed" to be optimal for the 2.4 motor.

What exaclty are you refering to JoeyDaBomb? Why will he be sorry in a 1000 miles?

yea, wut r u talkin about? problems with my car are not something that i like. If there is something wrong with the pacesetter setup let tme know. i thought it was makin my car idle weird but that was my only concern. everything else seems like its goin well.

mandrel bent is optimal for any car, it flows the best over compresson and crush, never get crush...

and joeydabomb is talking about the exhaust rusting out i think, if you search the topics been brought up manytimes, pacesetter catbacks arnt suppose to be that good...

but anyways im not here to rag on u, i like the car its very clean... since u have plans for a drop and rims, my only suggestion is shaving the badges... overall nice car and nice start man keep it up.

My pacesetter exhaust started to rust within the first 300 miles and by 5000 it was basically failing apart. There really is nothing you can do about it, just the nature of the beast I guess. Car looks good though, get a lip kit ,small drop, shave those emblems and call it a day. I'm not trying to be an ass hole about the exhaust, rather just giving you a heads up so you are aware of it.

pacesetter cat back should be mandrel bent usually the full cat back systems are...just avoid getting crush bent if ur getting a system that doesnt specify...or what not...in other words its good ur upgrading from ur crush bent to something else...

and wow rust at 300 miles...i thought the quality wouldve been better from pacesetter...hmmm
