ok well I pulled my spark plugs today...... I drove to napa and picked them up and waited about a hour to let the engine cool down.
these were gapped at .050 and I was having problems since i installed my green tops in. the motor ran choppy so the new plugs i put in I gaped at .035 and it idles fine now.
but heres a couple pics of the plugs I pulled
the one of the far left is the cylinder closest to the timing chain housing.... the rest are right in order as i pulled them going left to right
same thing again with this pic...
running lean? haha watch out man dont want anything to blow keep it running dont want another jbody with the engine blown at least urs isnt an eco
I dont think im running lean anymore..... I was having problems with the stock injectors so thats why i put my green tops in. I need to get a wideband to see whats up with my a/f ratios but everyone that i talk to with good knowledge things im running rich now. either way I need a wideband to tell me whats up. I was also thinking when i put my HO intake on I didnt have a AIT sensor in the intake for a while and now that i do it might of messed with the car some how.
I'll drive a round a lil bit and check the plugs in a couple days to see if they change at all

I was going to see it looked a tad but lean! That's all I could pull from it but It's not a crazy lean like when some people have it caked on.

yea the electrode and prong are white but the outside of the plug where the ground is black... I think my motor made a transistion from lean to pig rich with the injectors
