2nd that....

Also another good spot is pull the carpet back on the opposite side as shown above and there is a part where the metal comes together just below the antenna metal... that's a good spot too just make sure to use some sand paper and sand off the paint so that it's metal on metal... some people don't bother with it but trust me there is a difference...

Very bad spot to put a grounding wire. Check out the front of your trunk where your back seat is. On the sides there's a plastic piece that covers some metal. Pull this plastic piece away and there's a pre-made hole there. Just scratch the paint away around the hole so you can get a better connection and there you go. I can get you a picture if you need it.

just drill a hole in the spare tire well and ground it with a bolt in there

other than that it looks good

and turn OFF the bass boost, crossover set to 200 (or just below that) and the gains, unless u know wut ur doing just put it below half.. or leave it where its at now

WHY WOULD YOU LOW PASS SUBS AT 200HZ ?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING?
try setting ur low pass at about 80, what are u running for a front stage?
bass boost off, vlume on HU at the highest level u would listen to or about 2/3 total volume, set ur gains to either where they start to sound right for you, or if u start to hear clipping, go back down with the gains

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn

I grounded my system to the strut bolts. Easiest place I've found so far, and no problems 1+ years.

160-180 hz for a low pass sub filter is not bad?

i meant to say 1/4 turn below 200, not at 200

but even at 200, that wont do harm? will it?

It won't do harm , but it won't sound as good as it can

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

nice system

BTW you wanna get rid of the tails cheap?

it wont sound good trying to make ur sub play that high, the HIGHEST i would ever EVAR recomend is 120 if your front stage is lacking in midbass that horribly, but in all honesty, if properly set up, the highest i would consider is 80hz low pass, 80hz high pass on ur fronts, a quality mid shouldnt have a problem going that low, and NO sub should be forced to play anything higher, higher than 80-100 starts to get directional and the last thing u wanna do is drag ur soundstage to the trunk and make ur subs play frequencies that will sound like garbage coming out of a sub

did you make the box yourself? whats it covered with? it looks great. no visible wires other than that pesky ground, but id do exactly what dirty elf said and ground it in the spare tire well to a bolt.

Check out my build thread!

yup i made the box myself out of MDF (duh) and its covered in this leathery vinyl stuff i though it was pretty spaz so i bought it and made a slipcover and stapled it on the bottom and install the subs and the amp and boom its done! lol thanks Elitecavy.

Couple of things - turn that bass boost off. Usually bass boost = distortion. Read my good ol' sticky, play a 60 hertz test tone, and set your gains off of that.
