Here are some new pics of the cavalier. It's not the greatest J out there, but its a good learning experience. The car is pretty much done for this year. I have a few mods that I'd like to install before the snow starts falling, but the overall look of the car is more or less done for this year. I'm happy with how it turned out. It's a big improvement over last year, imo.
This is one of my favorite pictures. It's at a local car show, and depicts just one of MANY people that day who had never seen a carbon fiber hood before. Its amazing how much attention a carbon fiber hood will gather at a classic car show
Another favorite pic of mine. <3 Angel Eyes.
Here is what the car looked like about this time last year:
New from a year ago:
New wing (no more t2), Painted Stock Mirrors (no more m3), Painted Graphics (no more vinyl), Painted taillights, Projector Headlights, Suspension (Springs, Struts, Front & Rear Strut Bars, Rear Sway Bar) Intake, engine dressup, C/F evo hood, Audio (dvd headunit, speakers all around, 2 subs, capacitor, etc), 140 mph white gauge conversion, interior dressup & accents, autometer gauges.
It's come a long way.. but its not done yet...

Haha, I love it, soo many old guys stare at it for minutes, normally to ask if it's painted like that. I've answered a question about my buddy's hood on his Prelude at least once at all 3 shows I've attended this year.
I love it too.
If it were mine (which it isnt, but oh well i'll tell you anyways) I would change
1. Wheels (white wheels are so 1998)
2. Graphics (Painted now, so thats never changing I guess, why? cause they are so 1998)
3. Cavalier windshield decal ( cavalier on your windshild is very rice)
Those are minor things though, I think its hot as hell...
my favorite car on so many different points, i think some big breaks and S/Ced and itd be finished
looks amazing...i wouldn't change a thing
I normally don't like that hood, but it looks very good on your car.
I would get rid of the Cavalier vinyl on the windshield, but otherwise it looks awesome.
i didnt even realize the spoiler was different until you pointed it out
i had forgotten you had the huge wing before
You know how i feel about the car my friend.
BUT GOD DAMN I LOVE THOSE HEADLIGHTS ....

Loved your car when I first saw it. Still love it. (must....buy....projectors!!!!)
i really like the new graphics (paint. whatever)
but i guess that means no giant hamburger on the side
car is looking real slick these days. nice work
Round 1 Heat v Bulls 4-2 HEAT
Round 2 Heat v Nets 4-1 HEAT
East Finals Heat v Pistons 4-2 HEAT
NBA Finals Heat v Mavericks 4-2 HEAT
NBA CHAMPS!!!!!!!!
needs better wheels. the wheels look cheap compared to the rest of the car. some nicer wheels and the whole car will look 100% better.
I really like that rear trunk bezel!! Damn...that looks great! That's what it should have looked like from the factory!!
The rest is great too!!
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
Your car is probably my favorite cavy. I love the headlights and the graphics ant the whole rear end is awesome.
I liked it better with the hood white though.... Paint your hood!
It really doesn't go with the rest of the car now.
Wow, thanks for the comments guys
Appreciate it!
The hood will probably stay carbon fiber, I am looking into some possible options for next year to tie it in better with the rest of the car. It looks a lot better in person actually, I didn't think i'd like it in black, but it is actually pretty slick.
The rims might get replaced down the road. I cant see doing it right now though with the tires still like new.. If/when I replace them it will probably be with either another white rim, or a silver rim... Most likely 18" in size.
Big brakes are coming soon if all goes well... i've had an SSBC big brake kit with a rear disc conversion waiting to go on since January, but haven't had the time or resources to deal with it.. hopefully I will be able to get those on before too much longer.
SmoothCavi: Who says you can't put vinyl on top of paint?
.... but it doesnt mean I will.
Bags are neat, but not in my plans for this car. I really love my Tein H-Techs
The car will probably always have a windshield banner. I like them
But it might not always have the CAVALIER one.
Boost: I'd love boost, but can't afford it at this time. Maybe when I get a different daily driver I can boost the cav and keep the miles down on it. We'll see.
The graphics might be old school, but I like them, i've always liked them, and i probably always will ^_^
