Lately I have been juggling with the idea of selling it, since I have been using it has a summer daily driver and was not able to attend one show this year. My plan was to finish this one completely, and only use it every now and then, mainly for shows, looks like I may never get the money needed to really finish it properly, plus now I’m putting wear and tear on it and that pisses me off,
Between my wife, kids, camping and work i rarely get the chance to enjoy it like I should, I could easily get new car put a drop and nice rims and enjoy it the same, with out paying 3 set of plates, insurance, and repairs. Maybe fixing old car will work in the future when my kids are groaned up and I don’t have so many things to pay, right now ??
How mush would guys say my cavy is worth?
1987 z24 cl 103000kms original kms a/c still cold, everything works.
Due not move to the classifies, it’s not for sell , just wondering what people thinks a 1st gen z24 may be worth these day’s, specially when it’s in this good of shape .
Put in mai 2005
New tune up(plugs, wires, pcv valve, air filter, fuel filter, tranny solenoids and oil change, rad flush), strut, shocks, coil’s- (suspension techniques drop 1.2front .9rear), front to rear exhaust including cat. Ball joint’s, brakes, battery, new fuel lines, new brake front to rear lines,
all this to past Quebec safety , and believe me it would past Ontario safety easy, but starting next year no more need for emission , sure it would past that also.
Put in 2006
O2 sensor, upper plenum gasket, alternator, rims and tire’s,
Paint is new from June 2005 velocity red metallic from Mazda
M3 style spoiler, 2000-02 polish rims, gm oem front lower valance
Tint window’s
Here what I notice it needs
1- roof head liner needs new material,
2- front seat has some minor wear to them
3- minor rust spot under hood on the firewall and some on frame that’ olds the fender
4- noise in rear suspension (needs some bushings)
5- noise in front when turning ( driver side strut bearing )
6- more power lol
7- some under hood detailing

I think everyone gets to this point sometime. Do not sell it. Keep it and work on it when you have time. Put it away and take abreak if you need to. You will regret selling it.

listen.... don't sell, honesty its a very nice car, its not killing you or hurting you in anyway, just by keeping it in your garage, but if you do sell it, well..... it will be a crying shame because some snot nose teenager will just tear it to pieces....
