Adapter Flange pics pls.

I been planning on doing a 2.3 mani swap for a while, now that i got my 95 HO all i needed is an adapter flange. I went to some parts store & performance shops and they don't know what the hell it is.

Any body where can i get them? or is it possible to make one myself ?

Lastly and more importantly, what i really needed is some pics of your adapter flange. So if u got one post it please.

Just think about what you said... Do you really need an adapter flange for a 2.3 manifold on a 2.3? Nope! Nothing has to be done for you to do the swap if you have a 2.3. Trust me I also have a 95 2.3.

Read his profile, it quickly turns up that he has a 1999 vehicle, so I doubt it's a 2.3

Adapter flange needed.

save the $ and find someone to actually modify the manifold itself to match a 2.4 head....

That is why I said if you have a 2.3 cause if you think about it more does any 95 have an HO in it. LO is in all 2.3 J's

TRD - I realize that. Just clarifying, no need to get all upset about it.

I think fontana had the only set of adapter flanges, I know exploded used to make them too...

As for machining it. Impossible to do so unless you weld on material onto the flange and then machine it out properly... if you see the two flanges you'll understand why in an instant.

Yea I wasn't upset, but I just wanted you to reread what I put.

I have a Mantapart flange. It's intended for making custom manifolds. To use it you need to do cutting and welding, I used it as a template for the machine shop to modify my manifold to fit my head. Is that what you are after, or do you want to just do it the easy way?
