Sweetness: And so it Begins...
Saturday, August 26, 2006 7:17 AM
Spent last night with a few friends working on the motor... she's almost ready to drop in today. I won't go though the build list because frankly nobody's going to believe it anyway... but it can handle a few psi... maybe 30.

As quoted from Darren on the JCO:

Whats this? Looks like a normal 2.4L with a little paint on it...

OK, maybe not your average 2.4L, notice the oversized exhaust ports and stainless steel valves...

Now I DEFINATELY know its not a normal 2.4, whats that strapped to the back of the engine?

Take a look at the size of the intake ports and stainless steel valves.

WTF is that where the oil filter used to be?

And ofcourse the bling bling to top it all off!

And finally, the lady waiting for her new heart...

We will be installing it today(Saturday). I will update the pics later this weekend.

Questions, comments and flaming is expected and welcomed.

If there was a 'quote all' button I would use it. I'm exicted, almost enough to take a trip to Canada and see/feel/smell/taste/hear Sweetness in person.

Dyno queen? Are you retarded. You sir are a great example of why he doesnt list anything or care to. This will be his daily driver. He will be running two different stages of boost, and it was built for one of the main reasons being longivity. I am not saying anymore about his motor, but...the thing is a great deffinition of "built." No longer does built mean rods and pistons.....Congrats Chris, get the thing in and post your "edited dyno sheets." <-As I am sure your going to hear.

Shhh ... of course QBEs going to say something because this takes away from the light shining on him because of his superior 300WHP engine being built by Yasmin.
Duh.

Any idea when we will have a video or track times/numbers?

Ive been waiting for this, and the engine looks badass .

Then y won't he post what hes had someone do to the motor? If its that good, it only leads to better the jbody community in all. Hell.. i'm stil running stock engine with bolt ons. Willing to make it better in an engine built, but theres not concensus on how to make it better. So if you know...let us (me ) know. In all...if its that 'custom' of course nobody is going to spend 3 years(was it?) with no wheels, so y worry about it.
