No offense, but that looks like the same box size for two 12's. So how much weight difference did it
make? Looks like you just lost the weight of the other sub. Of course I don't know what your previous
box look like.
I know most people would agree with 3/4 MDF, but if you want it a little lighter, use 5/8 and brace
the walls with 2" strips of left over MDF. In my audio experience I have never seen two or one
12" sub blow up a box, unless it was poorly constructed. From the way yours look now, it's
pretty solid.

The main thing was losing the weight of the other sub but tryin to keep around the same amount of bass which I did.

yea i bet it still pounds but it's still a pretty good sized box, looks cleaner than the two tho
I have not scaled this box but the last one with the subs in was 80 pounds.

an this is probably 65, i guess that weight redux but not that great in my oppinon, although it is a very nice sub and box!
