Spent today winterizing the cav.... :-(
Thursday, September 14, 2006 4:39 PM
Its been pretty crappy weather here in NY for the last couple weeks or so I have been putting this off for a long time, so today after it stopped raining, I changed her oil, Cleaned her shoes, and gave her a water-less bath and tucked her away for the next 6-7 months. Alot has changed in the past month, I decided to take a semister off from school ( there is a logical reason for it however) and bust my butt working 2 jobs pulling around 55-65hrs a week. I'm well on my way to having this thing ready for paint as soon as the snow is gone next spring and I won't have to worry about salty roads anymore... I also have something else in store, but you'll just have to wait and see....

Untill then, these are the last before pics till next spring.

you're storing your car that's painted 2 different colors? Why not take off the UNPAINTED body kit and drive the friggin car in winter?
I still dont understand people's stupidity in driving around multi-colored cars (unless they've already had a kit and are doing widebodies and such). Gay. Pay for paint and then install the damn thing. Winterizing, hah!

More then likely he has a winter car thats why he isn't putting it back to stock.... and if he is in the same boat as I was most likely he doesnt have the stock bumpers and thats another reason... plus if he has more plans for the car why waste money on paint??? when he is just going add something in a few weeks and have to paint again.

So yeah widebody blah blah blah who the f**k cares... adding parts and doing a widebody and waiting to paint are the same damn thing...

And this folks is why I really never post on the org because people like that ^^^

why waste money on paint? has other plans? then install the damn body kit after its painted and all his "plans" are complete. this is why people laugh at hondas/j-bodies, cause people do stupid ghetto stuff like that. what a joke.

and for those of you that say he's saving up for paint, then install the kit when u have the money.

not everybody has room to store their kit until they have the money for paint. if it's on the car, it's not laying around taking up space. jesus christ cut the kid a break...

Dude STFU. if u got a problem with it pay for his paint then.. its his car so unless ur gonna pay for it and do something STFU.. same reason im not painted.. why waste paint to paint body parts with the current paint on it is @!#$ty.. the whole car needs repainted(mine) so im not gonna paint parts when i can get wait till all the exterior is done and repaint the whole car. Some people can't afford to get everything painted and @!#$ takes time for most people. Plus it shows work/progress..which alot of people like seeing. Like i said above if u have a big enough problem to bitch about it u can pay for it. I don't understand your stupidity coming in here bitching about his car not being painted.. big deal.. if he woulda posted it with stock everything everyone would be crying.. Its stock.. so atleast he has stuff done to it. Plus like a few people i know on here and locally in primer, myself included.. we have plans of what we want to do.. but we also change our plans sometimes. and putting parts on right away and seeing what u want to add with it or if u even like it is beter then paying to paint it and then find out u dont like it..

hehe.. YEA ! some people change their minds alot.. I would have went through about 10 paint jobs by now, Thank God for primer lol

There is nothing wrong with being under construction.. thats the fun part, if everyone wanted a car that was finished they would never start modding

your post was useless, maybe put UNPAINTED parts on your car just for a test fit, if you cant afford to paint them yet then put the parts aside untill you can, i know its hard not being able to show off a unpainted body kit, but im pretty sure people will love it more seeing it painted.
I also agree with him on what he said, all of it.

also so your saying you have to roll around in a car with a unpainted bodykit for a long time to make you decide if you like it or not? do a search on jbo im pretty sure 1000 more people have the same kit on there car painted for a good idea
