Resurrected J Update (frame welded, and more)
Thursday, September 21, 2006 9:03 AM
hey guys well finally got the frame all welded up as u can see. yes i do need to grind all the welds and paint the whole engine bay along w/ the rest of the frame i spliced into the car. Yes i do know what i'm doing please do not criticize my work (i'm also getting help from my father a frame guy of 25+ years). I picked up a RK SS hood off Widebodycav03 (great guy by the way) and i just set these items in place, the only items bolted on are the fenders which are being replaced by my BW2 fenders. i just set the hood and the front bumper/lip on it to get an idea.

on w/ the pics

and this is what's left of the donor parts car (1996 z 24)

thanks for looking guys comments welcome

Looking good. 1 thing though, in one of the pics, it looks like the upper rad support is bent up a little. Is that just the pic?

nice work. it's no easy task to put a whole new front end on a car, but you did it just fine. keep it up.
