Pics of LED Underbodies

Well, there are not exactly on the car but I decided to post these if anyone wants to know what these LED's are capable of. If anyone is wondering they are the PlasmaGlow 2.1 million color kit that I bought from a GP last year. Comments welcome, sorry for the messy basement. Hopefully I'll get some free time and fill up the hot tub and see how it works.

Blue

Green

Red

Teal

Yellow

Purple

Thats awesome! How did you wire them up to access 110watts? (I'm no electricion, besides, down the road, I want my Type-R 12s in my house.)

^Cheap computer power supplies can be wired up quite easily. Grab an ATX supply then jumper the signal pin. As your looking at the 24 pin MB connector, with the tab up, the signal pin is the 4th in from the left. It's usually green. Jump it to a black wire, any one will due; or better yet wire it to a switch of some kind. Now all the yellow wires will supply +12v. Red are +5v, and there are other voltages available if you need any.

I have power supplies all around that will do 20+ amps of 12v continuous. That's plenty for most medium sound installations. And if you need more, wire two in parallel.

Or, a quick trip to Radio Shack to pick up an AC/DC converter (you know the kind... the big ungodly wall plugs that once you plug it in, that's all you can fit on that outlet) that puts out 12v+. Cut off the non-outlet plug, use a digital multimeter to find out which wire is positive (usually the ground wire has a stripe), splice, heatshrink, enjoy.
