thats right, she's finally supercharged. i've had this kit sitting at my house for over a month and i was slowly counting down the days until i had some time off from school. the install was pretty easy, i hit a few roadblocks here and there, but that was due to the instructions sucking. I'd like to thank Phlatcav and Admiral Jedi for answering my dumb questions, if it wasn't for them, my car would still be sitting in the garage. I took it to the dealer yesterday for the reflash, and i gotta say that was not a fun drive getting it there. my wideband read 10 the whole way and i had zero power. it was scary. once i got there, i gave the instructions and all the necessary paperwork to the tech and went and called techline. the first time he called, no one answered so he left a message. an hour and a half later, they finally got back to him and downloaded the reflash. he goes out to my car and reflashes it and it won't start. he's very puzzled. i went out back to see what the problem was. you know what the problem was, he didn't plug in the new map sensor. i highlighted it on the copy of the directions that i gave to him. i was kinda pissed that he didn't read the directions. oh well, the car hauls ass now. i'm seeing about 8-9 psi right now and i absolutely love it. i still need to do some plumbing for the intercooler, i ran out of 90 degree elbows. anyways, on to the pics. i will have vids up later
pics from the install
and here's the finished product
some pics from today
i have about 250 miles on the charger already. it runs amazing. i have an rksport intake i'm gonna hack up today to make a better intake for the supercharger. vids should be up later. thanks for looking
not bad
you should check to see if he messed anything up by not reading the instructions
I'm glad I could help.
Awesome job getting that installed yourself, many people don't want to tackle a project like that.
9 psi is what I saw with the stock pulley, and now that I'm intercooled, I see 8, just fyi.
So how much time have you spend beyond the redline???
The whine is amazing isn't it.
We should all have a Supercharger meet sometime.
Nice! I'm glad I dont have to mess with that kind of corrosion on my car though.
Nice job man for doin it yourself.. Congrats.. Car looks sweet.

i mounted it the weekend before i installed the charger. i wanted to get all of the small things out of the way so that i would have less work to do when i installed the charger. i still haven't finished plumbing the intercooler setup though, i just can't seem to find anyone that has the 90 degree elbows i need. everyone is out of stock, its rediculous and frustrating. i only need like 2 more
nice wish i had one of those
SIG coming to an org near you!!!

Out of mild curiousity...Why does everyone hang the aftercooler so far out in front of the condensor? Ease of mounting or what?
It totally loose the ability to have the fan pull air thorugh it when at a stop in that configuration, which is when you really need it as ram air wil be more effective once in motion.....
Glad to see it on, and yes it is an addictive sound, but can also be an expensive addiction as well. Congrats on doing it yourself....
looks good, wheels look really good on there.
very very nice. im jelous
