Well I've not really touched the Z in a while with doing much.. Then started coming to the point of needing to get the car ready for winter.. So i decided i would get rid of all the fiberglass bomex body kit i have on it now.. so i decided i mise make a front lip for my winter bumper since i didnt think it was low enough so the last 4weeks i've been workin on this lip little by little everyday.. designing it off the import fighter front..
Now the lip might seem familar since Chad got lucky and was able to actually get the lip off a damaged IF front so i guess u could say he beat me to it.. But i got bored today and test fitted what i had and gave it some testing to make sure it was alright.. After installing it i realize i might just be sporting a 02 LS Sport lip for winter lol.
New Additions since my last post
Import Fighter Sides(Thanks to Grimor and Karo!)
00+ Center Console
00+ Door Panels
Upgraded to a 00+ Rearview mirror with #194 maplights
00+ Graphite Rear Seat
and thats been about it.. Then making this front lip.. So heres the pic after i came back to the shop from a 80mph wind test(its still there so i think it passed)
Now dont think the lip is done.. there is still alot of finishing work needed.. but all teh structure is done.. its basically adding and sanding from here..
Some future on this car is.. my buddy Xavier is supposed to be letting me pull the car into his shop and repaint the whole car.. As soon as that happens either Jeff(Karnage) will be the new owner or i'll be sportin a For Sale sign.. Still iffy on the situation but the last past week i've just been doing alot of thinkin and ready to get away from it i think.
Thanks goes out to Andy(alias1429), for some suggestions on making the lip. And to Jeff(Karnage), Alexis, and Andy as well for helping me on my decision on what to design it on..
Comments welcome.
meh...its ok
I may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
it looks titties. i like it. now hurry up and finish it
I see lots of fun sanding in your near future. Thats going ot look awesome when its done tho. Why are you contemplating gettin rid of the car?
Yeh lots of sanding.. but thats where the d/a comes in
i need to level out the top and bottom still.. another inch maybe will be taken off the bottom so itll raise it up a bit..
Thanks guys.. means alot to know ur opinions on it mainly cuz i've made it from nothing and glad to know others like what i love lookin at..
Why you sellin it? BTW i can forsee it will look good

i think it looks fantastic!
just for an option, what if you tied it into the bumper? such as this:
not so crappy, nor clumsy, but im sure you get the point.
hell, keeping it the way now looks good enough for me. LOL.

thats looking real good man keep it up and get it painted
Thanks alot guys. like i said it means alot and i really appreciate the positive comments..
As for while im selling... I think i started off on this car about 2yrs ago way wrong having to swap the engine and do alot of TLC days after i bought it, and not really being able to do much to it. And past couple months ive had the thought on my mind to sell it.. Then this last week i was talking with a friend about it and she kinda brought it all in perspective and just made me want to sell it more.. Now its a pretty decent car.. but i think i need something new and different and lookin at something non Jbody.. But like i said there is sometimes i see it and like it( like lookin at the pic above) but then when i look at it outside or driving it i just dont feel really a love for it like i used to.. so its still a iffy subject but its something im basically adding to the future plans but it could change i guess..

I agree.. thats why i said its still gotta be shaved down some lol.. the top will be leveled out with the bumper all the way across. and then about a 1/2"-1" will be removed off the bottom
