whats goin on guys, this seems to be the last show of the year for me, it left a bad taste in my mouth, the judges didnt even barely look at my car, the walked around it, peaked inside and spent the same amount of time doing that as they did staring at my wheels......
but in anycase i managed to get my interior re done for the show, not many pictures of cars uploaded yet, i got a few, but ALOT of photos of the other reasons to go to FREAKSHOW.... haha
anyway here we go
then some shots of the car, and my first real show set up, it needed alot of work, but hey, what can i say, i was on a budget..... and it was only my second time entering a show.

then there was this thing, sorry for the @!#$ty pictures, i need to get a better camra. its an older pickup that the bed lifts about 15 feet in the air and spins, shoots flames, and looks like a cari ride from hell.....
heres a teaser of what everyone missed that didnt go, and beleive me, i mean teaser.... its the freak show for a reason people!
and then this is how we ended the night, a truck bed full of beer cans.....

as for your interior... it's not stock, but i doubt i'd spend too much time looking at it either. you have a good start, and i know budget contraints and all, but if you want judges to spend more time looking at it, you have to give them more to look at. IMO, the dash pad has to go though.

It says in your profile that those are rsx seats, how hard was it to put them in? they bolt right in or what all did you have to do to get them to fit? also, are power/heated??

For future shows I would ditch the dash mat, and the radar detector, and dont bother with the tape around the car, looks cheezy.

x2. I mean, its clean, but all you have going is a molded in gauge in the center console and a gauge pod that snaps right in...at the very least, fiberglass the dashboard and paint the interior some other color...
Hey, I was wondering if you heard who won in the under construction category. We had to leave early, plus it was a long 6 1/2 hour drive home in the rain. I've got all kinds of pics that I'll try have up later. I think that I got a pretty cool vid of Schizophrenia (Jamie's S-10) this year. It's my 3rd Freak Show and this year had it's downpoints but I still had a great time. There were a couple of nice cavaliers there and as always, it's nice to talk to a few j-body members. The new location will take some getting used to, though.

well for the interior, i am in the process of 2 toning it, i am going with a semi black and tan. the dash pad will be died over winter, the door panels will be as well. the seats wernt hard to install, about 3 hours or so working on the brackets, then about another 3 hours getting the dam acura brackets off of the sliders.... didnt have an angle grinder... i do after that experiance.... haha i was there through the end of the awards, but i didnt hear the name.... i was kind of distraught about not even placing, everyone was telling me how the car stood out and what not from everything else.....
