well i took out the backseat enclusre, just wasnt feeling it anymore! so it made sense to mold the panels together and make a 1 peice interior!. Ive had a few ideas in mind dont know what to do though im stuck........
option a- do what doublezed did kinda........ put factory seats back in and get them re-done to match the car..... and put 2 buckets in the back, and extend a center CONSOLE from the dash all the way back that would be fiberglass. and put the subs in the trunk
option b- make custom seats out of fiberglass
option c- keep racing seats up front, and re-do another design in the back for the subs

and in doing so you should actually fill the intire rear seat area (from behind the seats and all) with glass with subs, amps, and speakers, maybe some monitors.

I say no to any seats in the rear...I saw do a nice audio setup in the back instead...
Why not make it only one seat (driver seat) and do a full wrap around with audio and equipment wrapping around? Might be kinda neat.

I say mold seats out of fiberglass.
Put adhesive padding on the bottom and back for comfort. Center console all the way back with folding LCD screen out in front of the backseat passangers.
first off...thanks for ditching the rear seat setup. I saying mean things about something someone worked so hard on, but I wasnt feeling it either. Your car isnt exactly what I would build but I love the fact that you are trying new things and that you arent afraid to change them after they are done. Its inspiring to see something different
With that said. I think the backseat area would look best with a cover that follows the form of the seats with a waterfall that flows into the center console(the pic below says it all). A bigger version of the picture below with a smoother transition to the console would rock.
Also some body lines from the dash through the door panels to the back area would be nice to emphasise the fact that this car has no doors.
The stock carpet has to go and I think a vinyl or leather upholstered floor with french seams would go perfect in a car as over the top as yours.
Hope my suggestions give you some ideas.

look to the alpine demo cars for inspiration on making seats. looks like you are on the right track though.

idk what your plan on putting audio in the trunk was since its welded shut...but that limits you a little too much, your ideas are to wild for a normal trunk set up. the way you are doing this car, seats in the back just would fit....its off the wall. i think you need a unique set up in the back. maybe done in a semi circle or something. \____/ kinda like that. im sure you can make something cool to go there. and i say no fiber glass seats, because i think its cheesy...and also because if they arent perfect, and 100% semetrical, it will look bad. anyway thats just my opinion and i cant wait to see what you do man. good luck.
