any updates on 1/4 times? looking forward to what else is in store......
I havent hit the track since September... and that was a very disappointing day... car had a 14.1 in it, I just couldnt drive worth @!#$.... went 14.6 missing 3rd _HARD_.
I think 75% of my spending between now and the start of racing is at a fab shop...
so is there gonna be a turbo to go with the n20
owen's hardcore
Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
thats one sick engine bay right there
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
How big a shot are you going to run?
PRND321 Till I DIE

I wanna see u keep a straight face with all the giggle gas ur gonna be injecting into that motor
300hp&tq coming soon
Team GREEN
I made everything on my car including the intake mani an i have not done any flow test also thats a 65mm throttlebody i adapted as well
also there is a vacuum block onthe bottom that you cant see in this pic
Building a custom intake manifold is pretty pointless without flowbenching it at the same time. I am not cutting either of your manifolds down, because I come from a fab backround, as my dad buys nothing, makes everything, all of his own presses, breaks, everything, and I can appreciate good work when I see it. Owen, good design, but I bet that manifold is doing more harm than good. It deffinatly needs some sort of taper, to halfway keep the airflow the same in all of the runners if you arent going to put it on a flowbench, but, personal preference, I wouldnt ever build an intake mani without flowbenching it. I am making an intake manifold for my motor and Chris's(Sweetness) here in a few months when I have complete and unlimited access to a flowbench. I think there is a lot of cfms to be gained by a custom intake mani on our cars.
I didnt make the manifold, Hahn did.... I've had it quite a while... and the first and last time I'll ever buy anything from him.
The nozzles are new... looking at well over a $1000 worth of metal hanging off the front of my engine
If i had that much money and custom engine work done to something that only ran 14s, well i dont know what id do, but it would def not be wasting more money on that.

thought it looked like the hahn manifold. any reason why? brad and bill have been plesent for me.
how big of shot are you planning to run? please take some videos.
im really quite interested to see how well it runs. you and pj are the only ones i know taking the stock eco crank and bearings up to that 7500-8000 rpm area. and now that your adding nitrous im anxious to see how it works.
also i was looking in your profile owen,
MSD DIS-II
MSD Blaster Coilpacks
MSD 8.5mm plug wires
hows that treating you? how much was that setup? any reason u went with the DIS-II over a distributor conversion?

KeithGT, I'm gonna laugh like hell when you eat your words next year.
John,
I'm not going to publicly disclose what kind of a shot I want to run, but it'll be big... I'm shooting for low-11s but I wont be surprised with high 10s... really not sure how everything is going to behave, that'll determine how big I feel comfortable going.... kinda uncharted terrortory here.
The manifold isnt worth the price, its a decent manifold for $499, but not $749... the runner/log welds arent as smooth as I'd like, even if the the runners were flared a bit making the transition smoother, it'd be alot better. There was some other drama with shipping getting me the part by the time I wanted it, there were gains, but $850 for 5hp is crazy.
MSD setup was price... $500 or so vs. $2000 or so... the dizzy setup isnt cheap or easy to setup. The Dis-II has worked well, one of the dipswitches died on me, got a replacement box... hopefully the problem will be fixed, i just havent bothered to mess with it. Next week... trying to be ready to dyno in January so everything is a mad rush during the holiday season
and as much as Alpha-N and the stock injector drivers suck ass, both problems arent too bad on a nitrous / n/a motor.
That is the coolest looking engine bay!!
Nice work
