well got around to putting them in. i want to get a stock console and make it fit. between the rears. and im going to have to make a false wall to keep it divided from the trunk. so thats all i got so far. and there is also a pic of my car as it sits in storage lol.

Enjoy

they look out of place and uneven

they are just set in there, not fully mounted. i have some metal fabrication to do to get them to sit how i want them, they are in just not 100% mounted. that comes when i can take it to school to weld on. and its being stored in a rec center at a camp that isnt open in the winter. all to my lonesome. and i like the look of them because all the seats match now.

and i dont have a blue domelight. i have a blue firefighter light, thats it.

here are the bigger pics. i didnt know photobucket setting was set to thumbnails. sorry. and wow didnt think the seats were that dirty. gonna have to clean them up a little i guess.

Since they're just sat in can you get some pics of you actually mounting them? I've considered using my stock fronts in the rear but if it proves to be more than I can handle I don't want to start and run into a wall when the gas tank is dropped.

still looks good. few suggestions/comments:
1--clean that @!#$!
2--a console of some sort between them would be great. otherwise youll be able to see where the carpet ends, etc and thats just ugly
3--how much leg room will any passengers have? that looks like it would be very cramped to try and fit someones legs between the back seats and the front seats
4--how do you plan on mounting these? what do you think of making a false floor and mounting the seats on that? it would get rid of the mess you could see between the seats and you wouldnt have to mess with dropping your tank, etc

1. yes i know clean
2. yeah i know you would see the carpet end.
3 it depends on the angle i have the back of the back seats. i dont want the people in the back to have to sit straight up but the more i make them sit more straight, the more room i get. or just move the passenger front up some because there is plenty of room behind my seat and i dont need it all anyway.
4. If i were to make a false floor, it would raise these up even higher. right now there are no sliders or anything on there. just seat. the false wall will be blocking into the trunk.

ill try to remember to take more pics when i go to fully mount them so there are better results for searching when i did the search.

id ditch the head rests, and maybe make a console that would not only be on the floor but go up between the seats and mold in with the trunk wall . but that requires fiberglass and all of that im sure u want it simple

head rests are going to stay so all the seats look the same. and i have never fiberglassed before and would rather not start, but i do need to figure out what to do for a console. i dont know what i want but need to figure out what will fit. i might just weld one up out of aluminum or something and see what i can get done.

could cut down a cav console to that all you have is the arm rest and cup holders

The car is being stored in a rec center for a camp that isnt open for the winter. Free so i cant complain., the door to get it in only gives me 1/2 to 1/4 inch on each side but it fits.

Ive wanted to put seats in like that since i had my car, and for homecoming i got an 07 eclipse to take and it had bucket seats in the rear and the wall dividing the back of the seats to the trunk at a sub face out in the center, all the new eclipses are like this and i think its awesome.. just a suggestion if youre still looking for ideas or what not.. but otherwise love it, ill give you my car to do it to as well.. for free ofcourse

I love the idea of buckets in the back.

but those are base model, ugly ass seats, and you can see in the trunk... Gimme a G, Gimme an H, Gimme an E.....ok you know where i'm going with this.. Ghetto...

Put a wall up of some sort, recarpet where the rear seat was, and reuphoster all the seats so they look nice... not like you just bolted 2 seats in the rear to try and kill your friends if your ever in an accident... hehe.

You do notice all the seats match right? and they all match eachother right? and that they match the interior right? and if you read the whole post, you would see that they are just set in there. also if you read the whole post you would see that im making a false wall that will be carpeted behind the seats. and the seats are going to have brackets made and welded to the car.they will actually be more safe than the factory bench seat. plus seat belts save lives. everything else helps. im not a fan of many aftermarket seats. i like my stock ones just fine. and i dont want to have 2 matching in front and the back. or spend that much to have them all re done.

alas, read the whole post, you will see that all the carpet will be taken care of, center console, and false wall are all in order.

what other model seats would u like him to use from the cavalier model line? none of the cars were offered with leather or some other style (i know this cuz i have a 03 sales broshure), unless he would wanna buy the seats from my car then thats what hes gotta use cuz chevy never offered any other type of seating , but maybe 04 was diff , ive never seen a stock 03-05 cav with leather as an option unless it was custom done like my 03 (not trying to rub it in or bost)
