Small updates and some new paint.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 9:18 AM
Here is what it looked a few months ago.

Here is what she looks like today. I made a few minor changes and still making progress. I painted the side mirrors, got the doors repainted due to dings and scratches, and removed the grill badge. Im taking it back to the shop in a few weeks for the handles to be painted as well. I just thought this should be my last update for the year of 06.

Currently I'm looking at some Ground Magnet springs for the drop. All comments welcome of course.

I'm not sure what it is.. but something about your car just comes across as straight and clean as hell. Rims and paint match eachother perfectly. Once dropped, even without any lips, sides or wings, you'll turn heads. Perhaps one of my faves among the non-kitted Js

Thanks for the props man!! I'm glad someone out there sees how I'm trying to make it clean as possible without going overboard with crazy mods and still be clean + nice. I'm getting the handles done on the 1st of Feburary. They were supposed to be done now with the side mirrors but my painter didn't follow the instructions on my estimate.

The main reason I took the side moldings off the car was because of the new paint. I didn't want the painters to painter over the molding and leave the old paint underneath. I was really thinking about leaving them on but I didnt want the trouble. I might not leave them off for too much longer. Thanks for the comment.

I liked the look better with the moldings I also think you should have painted the door handles instead of the mirrors. I have never heard of ground magnet, I think you meant Road Magnet springs.

I agree with Alexis since you don't want to really "kit" the car or do crazy mods I think that SE Sunfire skirts would really pull it off. That way you can keep the door handles black which pulls it together. You might lose the look if everything is all white. Its you choice but it looks good no matter what.

LOL the back window is tinted, but its hard to tell. It is actually a gun metal/ silver mirror tint. I'm going to redo it with regular black comming soon. Also, I
was referring to Road Magnet springs. I can't wait to get the handles painted/ lowering springs.
