I'm looking for the pic's of the 2.3 HO Intake Manifold that was fully polished out. I looked and only found one that where red X's. Also the pic's where not from the same person I was thinkin' of. Please lets not say Search or any kinda crap we all are tired of hearing. I'm workin' on getting the LD9 done. So please try to help and find or post pic's of them. I'm tryin' to see how much shaping I can do before polishing it out. I got one side of the full runner done, but any tips on doing the part in the middle of the runners to look even and rounded.
Thank you...
Not sure whose it is, but while I was researcing the install of the HO mani I found this.

Thank You... A llittle more work on that with some Direct Port Shot w/ polished lines is what I want... Do you know who's that was for maybe getting some insite on how to round out the runners like that.
I wish I could remember man; but, I downloaded so many pictures I've lost track of whose is whose. Here's another one I liked. Maybe someone else will recognize this or the other one.
here's couple more!
I think McMoney who did the work.
^^ thats DerekZ24's
too bad it doesnt look like it anymore, he parted it out.
lots of grinding and sanding trey
I'm actually currently polishing my HO intake manifold as well. Thus far I have been able to get the runners rounded out very nicely and now im on to the sanding process. I found the best thing that worked for me were a die grinder and dremel too with various attachments.

The smoothed and painted and/or powdercoated look is my personal fav. The black one is one of the best IMO plus love that engine bay in general with the conversion to spark plug wires and distributor over that annoying idi cover system.

Hmm... Did you sell the charger in your sig, or do you have another car for the HO Intake Manifold? I'm using my right angle die grinder with grinding bits and polishing bits on it. I'm going to have to get a dremel with some attachments to ge the inner done right.

holy frickn balls that engine bay looks frickn NICE... thats hands down the best msd conversion ive EVER seen on a 2.4, i mean check out the custom idi cover and the custom bracket to mount the coils-thats frickn neat. Whosever car this is.... GREAT JOB!
and wtf... how did that guy get the ho mani to shine like that? must have a special polish im not aware of, cuz when i hand polish my stuff they dont even look close to that. that manifold is badass, just wish it would have found a clean engine bay to live in.

Yes sir I sold the charger in the fall. Fully (and i mean fully) built LD9 and custom turbo setup coming in the spring of 07'. I won't say too much about the setup for now but the unveil will hopefully be at Carlisle Sport Compact in early May. What I will say is I'm going for BIG hp numbers and psi

The HO manifold on the white car is not polished, I believe they stated in the post it was either powder coated chrome or chrome dipped. Cant remember which one. it is SICK though for sure!
No it is polished to the max. It is not chromed cause that would ruin any benifites you would gain putting that on to lower intake temps.
would this manifold fit on a 2004 cavalier with the 2.2L ecotec
No
