there is nothing wrong with the ice.
For some reason , i felt sad watching it leave.
I know how it feels man , hope something better is in your future!
I thought you did real well with the car, good job man and good luck with ur next ride!
I was working on getting the rear bumper off today before she went, and saw the taillamp well...man, the paint was still mint in there...brought me back to the day we laid down that black paint on the car...
Man I know what it's like to see your first sunbird go. my 86 sunbird was my first car. my next door neighbor bought it then she hit a dear with it and totalled it. I was sick when I seen it. I wish I would have kept it and put a 2.0 turbo in it. but oh well maybe down the road someday I'll find another 1st gen to mod. good luck with whatever the future brings and dont be a stranger on the site!

You finally let it go eh Dave? I was going to say you have been like a woman with this car these last 6 months. One day your parting it out, the next day your fixing it, then the next day your selling it complete and so on and so forth.
Hopefully you find something better that you will like and that will be more reliable.
It's is very hard to let your first car go. It holds that special place in your heart. I remember when my first car caught on fire and burned to the ground. I'm not gonna lie, I cried like a little girl, lol.
Well, I bought another car today. A J, even. 1997 Cavalier vert. 2.2 auto, emerald green. Will have some pics up on Monday when they deliver it
haha good deal staying in the game. now you can use the Z wheels on it if you have them. Or were they chopped in the sig?

Not enough interest in these cars here...sent it to the scrapyard. $100...that'll help pay for the Cav...
My first car has become a stationary heap of scrap metal at my shops parking lot. If you lift the ratty car cover and take a peek you'll see some fine 2nd Gen carnage. Meh. Goodbye rust, you will not be missed.
In your case, such a clean body for it's age. Shame someone didnt take it in, oh well. Welcome to the 3rd Gen world where modifications are plentiful and rust isn't a daily battle
The only rust on my car was on the edge of the door where the paint had worn through, and around the weld spots on the rocker panels where I attached the body kit
So the car will be delivered to me tomorrow at my new job
I thought you were doing a 3.1 swap in the street or something? Did that never happen or a different person?
Oh well, verts are sweet.

That was me, but my job kept calling me in to work (despite the requested time off and lack of transportation) so I had to scrap the idea and rebuild the 2.0...
Bye bye......Whats next...?
