Well we got the engine in and mounted in the hole once again. For anyone who has ever been in my car before you would know that there is quite a bit of vibration. This year we redesigned the mounts to take some of that vibration out. Still have some finnish work to do on them but for the most part they are done. I also ended up moving the engine down about a 1/4 of an inch and forward about 1/2 an inch to allow for more clearance for the 3.5" down pipe from the turbo.
Materials to build the manifolds should be here tomorrow or wednesday so then it will be onto the task of getting that snail mounted.
Here are some pics for now....

Looking good buddy, keep working away. This is going to be a beast for sure.
sorry, but that is a 3800 S/C right? I forgot. If so are you gonna run a turbo and the S/C ?
Just geting rid of the M90 supercharger and going with a PT-67 bb turbo.
Once I get the manifolds done the car goes for paint.
Hoping to have everything done and the car back on the road by May 1st. Lots of things going to be changing this year, lots of pics to come over the next month and a half.

I'm trying
I figure that I have about 100 hours or so left. Next on the list is the manifolds and charge piping. Once those two things are done it's just a matter of pulling everything back out and sending the car for paint. While the car is at the body shop I hope to tear down the engine, send it to the machine shop to be bored out for new goodies
rebuild it, and get the interior redone. Once I get the car back it should just be a matter of reinstalling everything and breaking it in.

I hope so, I've wanted to see some videos of your car for a while now.
Seems you were always fighting the uphill battle with it.. hopefully things keep going smooth for ya.

I have seen what can happen when you beef up the Buick 3.8 turbo (500hp+)from the 80's i cant imagine what this will do in a cav
Burn some dust-Eat my rubber!!!!
Well I wanted to be the first one to have a turbo 3.8 but it looks like your gonna win. Especially since I am buying a house and thats gonna take priority. On the other hand I would be interested in purchasing your mounts once they are all designed and ready to go.
Whats up people?
i believe he had some serious traction issues before but she pulled! lol that thing is awesome bet you dont lose any burnout contests.
lol..I don't think I have done a burn out with it other than in the water boxes at the track to be honest. Javis I won't be the first turbo'd 3800 either, Frank did it years ago and and is still one of the fastest on this site.
I got the materials in to make the manifolds over the past few days so I can start them soon. Game plan for tomorrow is to mount the valve for the new brakes and reroute the fuel lines. Trying to get as much space as possible for the down pipe then on to building the manifolds. I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

Slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
Really? Is it in a cavy? I've never seen it. I'm going to go look it up now
I'm shooting for 500 whp when i build my engine up. Right now im kind of wondering what I can bore the 3.8 out to? does anyone know? I wouldnt mind trying to bore it out to a 4L
but im not sure how stable it would be after that
Whats up people?
Start reading the 3800 forums, there is a bore kit to 4L, but they do
NOT recommend boost on that application.
