I'm going to be doing something similar soon, but my wheels have paint on them. I was thinking of just sanding the paint to make a good base and spraying the colour on that. What do you think?

I used 400 grit sandpaper to scuff the original paint before priming mine

I didn't really look to see how long I took masking them off but I think about an 1 hour

whats the risk that the paint will come off?
Did you spray the back side too or does like the inner wheel have the old color still?
How many cans did it take to do all that?
How many days did it take to complete like drying times ect ect?
