remember, this is my first glass project. got to sand around the blue arrow and gonna sand down the lips in the red arrows. also have highs spots that i have to sand down. once i get these areas taken care of, tomorrow i will start with bondo and more sanding.
yay also, just curious, i thought about a fiberglass false floor in the trunk area. any input on that idea? lol
problem area( triangle chip missing). should i fill it back in with glass or will the bondo take care of that area?

well...i cant see the pics cuz im at work, but i would advise against a fiberglass false floor...youd be making ALOT more work for yourself than you need to. just use wood.
ill reply on the pics when i go home on lunch
they gave you good advice listen to it and you will be fine
I love all of the fuses sitting in the tray at the end of the console, reminds me of my car, lol.
sndsgood wrote:id use some fiberglas for the chip and yeah wood for the false floor. fiberglass isnt as strong when its straight and flat so you'd need allot of fiberglass and resin to do it, you'd probaly spend 50$ in materials for something a 10$ piece of wood could do.
i agree....now that i see the chip....only thing that will fix it is a little glass work. filler will crack right off.
yeah i'd fiberglass the chip. and also, use as little bondo as possible. if you have any low spots, use f/g and use bondo just for smoothing it over.
and mdf wood floor for the win. cheaper and less work.

ok, preciate it. i'll stick to the wood floor. lol. as far as the chip, i'll fix that up and theres a couple spots after sanding got a lil thin and flimsy have to add some glass to. THEN i should be ready for the bondo. like always, thanks for the help.
