do you know what bigot means? cause it has absolutley nothing to do with cars....
I'm guessing he got the car and did his own body work. Considering how the rear quarters are painted he probably popped some dents out and then primered it til he could afford paint. Nothing new, he just chose a weird color and didn't do the whole car like most people.

Ashamed of what, that someone has a multi colored car that may be being built?
Not bad imo..def worse out there
I'd say "bigot" fits nicely into context.
Looks like a purple cavalier that had a right front collision. I guess he wanted to upgrade rather than just replace and he is going through fixing the other dents and dings.

It'd look a lot better all Dark Plum, hah. But I would probably talk or think some crap too on initial impression. That thing is pretty whacked out, and brown primer has to be the worst looking @!#$ ever created. But there is potential there, and as long as we recognize that nobody here is a bigot.
hmm looks like a work in progress to me.....
nothing wrong with that, some people cant afford more than one car, so they end up having to drive their project on a daily basis.
True---^ but come on, brown "red" primer... atleast go grey. Hahaha.
i see nothing wrong with it. Its not the prettiest color of primer, but it works the same.
Not everyone gets to have a daily driver. Some people (like myself) have a daily driven project car. My car has a light gray primer bumper, a gloss black driver side fender... a flat black pass. fender. A Gray rear 1/4 panel, and the rest of the car is blue, with a carbon fiber hood.
Its not the best thing to look at, but I can only do so much between work, and night time, and still manage to get time in with my girlfriend.
...
It looks like a work in progress. Aslong as that car hasn't been sitting like that for a extended period of time, I don't find anything wrong with it. Maybe he was buying more primer to finish it?
you should be more ashamed of your grammar.
Im ashamed to have seen this today...
as for the car, yeah... it needs a lot of work.
ferrari uses pink primer on thier red cars, thats why they are such a briliant red.

Who cares if this car isn't finished. They are working on it. Who cares if its a cavy in an 'ugly' stage...but cars always start out ugly and then monument into a car like mine..hehe. But thats prob his/her only car and either they never had the money to finish it (yet-hopefully) or it was late in the season to have it painted since it may be their daily driver. Who'd want to drive a freshly painted car in nasty disgusting snow/salt??? Not I! With that being said, I think the bird poo on the trunk gives it a bit of sex-appeal...don't you think? haaaaa. But I am rather much disgusted with the carts in the parking spots. lol. Put an engine in them at least!
So its a work in progress, what is wrong with that?
And to those who think the primer colour is odd, who cares? Its a primer, hell, even Jeff (Bagdfire) used this colour... quit picking on people!
Eh, it's not soo bad. It's obviously a work in progress and the guy obviously has some work ahead of him. I've seen worse in my area of town and that doesn't even come close to cutting into the fraction of the worse cars I've seen. I'm sure the guy would like to have his car more presentable but when you had one car, there's only so much one can do.
I would be more concerned with what the final product looks like, not what the work-in-progress looks like.
OOOHHHHH, THREAD MAKER GOT SURRRRRVED.
I think it'll look good when it's done. I'm in the same boat with having to drive my project car and people like you piss me off.
There are other possibilities that share the initial impressions and give them some truth..
I don't care of your money situation, have pride in your ride. If my car was half-kitted and being bodyworked the least I could do to keep it presentable in public is to have it a solid, single-color of primer. Cost a concern? Bull. Primer is not expensive. Just because it's a work in progress doesn't mean it has to be a piece of ass until it's finished. A little attention payed throughout the build can keep a car decent until completion. I would not drive that car. It's @!#$ embarassing.
Well I would of thought that the black out covers could go. I've not seen those on a car in a very long time. Other then lowering the car, and priming the whole car instead of the whole car is dumb. I know not everyone has the money to do that, but why leave one white fender not primered when everything eles is primer or body color? "wtf
But it does take time to work on the body. Its not like its a easy thing to do. Takes a lot of time and work. So if you start with the bad spots first, its probably better. Plus with it just being spring, who's to say its only been like that for a few days? Maybe he was going into walmart to pick up some more sandpaper or something?
...
WOW ohh man i bet the guy who started the thread regret it that already lol. As for the car like everyone said its a work in progress personally all the guy has to do is paint it black and hes pretty much finish , for exterior that is. To the owner of that Z keep it bro.
