now, if only somebody would make a RWD cav thats streetable and basically stock looking with a nice set of rims on it-that would tickle me, but seeing all these drag cars, doesnt really do it for me... you see one, youve seen them all.

not really, its tubbed. i wanna see one with a set of 'tuner' wheels on it, basically make it look like most of our cars, only with the RWD and a v8.
it does for the fact that its going to be streetable though
that seems pointless to me. These cars are way to light to not have big tires under there to keep it planted if there is some serious power under there, hense the giant slicks that stick out from under the front fenders of serious fwd draggers. Tubbing it just keeps them under the car instead of sticking out!
Like BMW M series rims? Not really tuner, more sports car.

u dont need to drop a 1000whp 700 inch rat motor in it!!!! lol a simple 350 or 400 sbc would suffice just fine... lol a nice set of 9" wide 18's with some drag radials would hold traction decent i think.
think about it, the new gto is probly throwing down a good 350 to the wheels and the rear wheels are 18's and arent THAT wide, and it does OK.
in all honesty its my dream to use a 3800 s/c in a cav and do a full tube chassis, and keep the 'tuner' look. if i ever win the lottery this will be the first thing i do
most gto's come with 17's all around. 18's were an option....sorry i had to
