Its 2007... Time to get digital bitches!
Had to drill out a little bit of the key hole, maybe a 1/32 or 1/16" wider.... But its so sweet!
I gave it a day light drag today, and i can see sparks in the day time coming out the back, so im going to have to find a way to record video from it.
Its a Pyle brand. I got it off ebay for about 50 bucks.
...
your h/u should have a vid out, then just need a camera that is able to record from an external source.
yeah, my camera doesn't allow me to do that... I don't think. I could almost do it with my Laptop, except the video card is fried in it, so video's do me no good being as they crash it.
I wonder, do they make a SD Memory card recorder? Something you can plug into, then record straight onto a memory card?
...
i'd need a portable one though. Really don't wanna run a invertor, camera, and air ride all off a normal battery. (well, little stronger than stock, but none the less)
...
looks good but you need to angle it better so your picture inst tilted to the side. lol
damn man you deffinatley beat me to it.. i have this in my rooms waiting to go in but since i havent been driving, i havent bother to install it yet!!.. lol
GOT ECOTEC?
Its been straighten out finally. So straight images
...
i did the same in my old cavi except i put the camera in the 3rd brake light housing
good work

I think that angle was perfect, lol!
Thats awesome man, good job!
A friend of my dad drives a Jaguar XKR, and he custom made a set up so that he removed both side view mirrors and hooked up cameras to them and he has little screens on his dash that show them. But he got rid of it, now he drives a Aston Martin V8 Vantage
cool man like it alot. when you drag it will probally be so bright that all youll see is one big blur. bad ass none the less. cant wait to see it
Well, so far in the day time, you can faintly see the sparks with the sun coming at the camera. Haven't gotten to lay it out at night yet.
...
looks cool. i wanted to do that when i put in my screen. does it work good as a mirror or is it really only good for show?
works great as a mirror.
You can actually see in your blind spot a little better with it. Now I am not saying, go out and get one, and take your rear view mirror out! But it does help.
I pretty much just bought it for dragging. You can never see your sparks but faintly in the mirrors, so now I should be able to see some good ones. And if it takes a good picture at night with sparks everywhere, than I'll have some up sooner or later.

i just turn my head.............
cost me $0 on ebay

you should be able to see alot of sparks out your mirror. just lay it harder and the sparks fly farter
lol. True, but I also have headrest in my back window. So the bottom of my mirror view is rendered useless. (like me
)
I gave it a test tonight. And it shows the nice "lines of fire" with the shower of sparks. So looks like tomorrow, I am going to be moving my forward facing camera mount to the console. This way my video camera faces the TV and I don't have to try and hold a camera, drag, and hit switches at the same time. So when I get a video up, it'll probably be really shakey footage, but footage none the less.
