awesome, are you guys thinking these will be stiffer than the RKs?

i think it would be nice to have something with a little more flex than rks because with theirs my dash was shaking up to an inch

TTR claims these mounts will cause less vibration than the Rksport model, i believe it was in the link.

Its on, i do notice a little less vibration than the other poly one. Working on the write up now. i have pics and you will have to wait for me to post them along with the write up. The mount will be put to the test saturday for sure. Im going to a private drag strip rental for 4 hours so its going to be put to the test.

The price is still being discussed and they should work better and perform better than the Prothane or the RK lower mount. keep checking for the updates which should be up tomorrow.

how does a mount with more rubber and less vibes perform better i bet there is more movement than with the rk mount.

its more geared toward less vibes and same performance since so many complain about the vibes. i do notice less vibes and it definately looks a heck of a lot nicer. plus this one is made of aluminum which i weighed the mount it weighed 1.5 lbs RIGHT on the money. ill weigh the Prothane tomorrow and see how much lighter it is.

My thoughts exactly. I have put some serious that into how the RK sport one could be more performance oriented and I truley believe there is no room for improvement there.
I fthis mount produces less vibs that is cool. Although I have never noticed any vibration in either of my 5 spd z24's so I think it is only an issue with automatics.

the RK mounts are Cadmium Plated Steel and could eventually corrode.

these TTR's are aluminum and the worst they'll do is oxidize which will still outlast the life of the car

and they are powder coated as well to protect them from that. So far so good. a few less vibes. installed easily and looks amamzing. no squeaking or grinding or squealing nothing. so far so good. Saturday it will hit the 1/4 mile and really be put to the test. Write up is done and will be emailed tomorrow.
