f$$$$K I heard too much bad $hit about RSM. I was worried so I decided to take her apart to be sure shes in a good shape.

there was a cracked bracket on oil pump. got it replaced for $15 buck!!!!!

The gear ratios are lower than all the V-6 Getrags and most other Quad 4 Getrags. This is the ultimate drag racing or road racing gearbox. It can also be used as a stock replacement for any Quad 4 car.

WITH internal hydraulic throwout-bearing installed from the old green HM282 its nice to own BOTH old school getrags!!! HM282 and NVG T550 I ll know which ones is better soon. I need some help to custom tranny front mount. I tried ISZUZ front mount.. its way diff big time. my car mounts were (custom made for HM282)
HM282 and NVG T550 are 90% same.. the designs etc... but the mounts arent the same. HM282 (90-92) NVG T550 (93-94) help will be appericated.

The 2000+ getrag for the LD9 and Ecotec is a 3.94 as well.

Everything looks so good. I'm so glad more and more people around here are doing things very clean in the engine bay. I think you have pushed me over to doing my block in red also. I've been tossing the idea around for a good while now since my car is red. Can't wait for more updates on everything. I for one will be using the newer getrag with the the HHR gear ring instead for my cars gearing.

yea, car is gonna be painted in candy apple red.

for sure its nice to have engine like this.. soooo clean! easy to bust any leak and fix it.. I ll never drive her in wet weather espeically winter time too.

I like how rks pro coilovers is........................ soft and hard springs.. it handles cornering very well.

I am not going to buy a welder just yet.. plan has changed after I talked to Chris (sweetnessGT) he woke me up! but yeah I still need a welder for other stuffs. anyways I need your big help to install transmission very soon!!! as soon as I get NVG FRONT MOUNT I ll get started on it... I am still looking around for one. I went to my local junkyard yesterday. they dont have any cars with nvg T550. I beg you to check your local junkyard to see if they have one.
