Sucks to be me.

OMFG!!! Why me? That is all I want to know, why me? What have I done in the past or who have I wronged to deserve all of this? Yesterday I lose my job because of a restraint I had to do to protect a nurse, today my car gets rear ended and totaled, then just now a guy that lives down the road from me is wanting to take me to court because he said I burned out in front of his house!?! This is the kind of bull &)#@ that makes people snap. I don't know what to do guys...

You burned out in front of his house. Worse your going to get is an exibitionary driving fine, and he has to prove it.

Who did you have to restrain? You lost your job for protecting someone I believe thats BS! too.

There was alot of frame damage and the trunk floor is crumpled, the exhaust is destroyed, the trunk lid wont open, I had 3 estimates done and each one was over $3000 to repair. And since the car has 140,000 miles on it the insurance company totaled it. I used to work at a behavior hospital for children, and there was a 17 year old boy who didn't want to take his medication and he went to hit the nurse so I jumped infront of him. Took the hit, and tackled him to the ground, the nurse was in her 60's and this kid was gonna clobber her. So they fired me because it was no a proper restraint. And yeah I know the guy needs proof that I did it which will be impossible because I never drive down that end of the road, I have no reason to. I think he is mixing me up with this punk kid in a turbo talon that drives up and down my road like a bat out of hell. Don't ask me how somebody mixes a Cavalier up with a Talon but this guy was deff a reatard. But on the car yeah I was not thinking it was much more than a bumper and bumper rebar. But he hit me at around 40MPH and I guess it did a crap load of frame damage that the insurance company does not want to fork the money out for. I had only one more payment to make on the car as well.

dude breathe
ask yourself this question
if you were in the same situation at work again, would you do the same thing?
if you answer yes, then youll be ok, youll find another job
as for the assbag that said you burned out in front of his house, well how could you, your car is totalled
and if that doesnt work, tell the judge you own a cavalier
it will be dismissed

ouch! @!#$ty luck man.

But let the guy "take you to court" because unless he has a visual aid (pictures/video) he can't do @!#$. Trust me. People have called the cops on me for dragging before. And the cops couldn't do anything because they had no proof.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the burn out. They would have to be able to prove that you burned out in front of the person's house. Hell did they actually see you do it? How do they know exactly that it was your car and not someone elses. Problem with neighbors is you don't get to pick them. Sometimes you get nice one's and sometimes you get pricks. Just hope they don't have connections... especially if they are old. I got taken to court by one of my neighors who lived across the street and 3 houses down, because he said my dogs were disturbing his sleep. Funny thing is that he likes to hunt and back then he had 12 Beagles locked up in a shed across from his yard that used to make tons of noise at all times of day and night, and my neighbors who lived right beside me said they didn't even know I had dogs. My yard was on the opposite side of my house and they were on the other side, so they never saw my dogs when I let them out and apparently couldn't HEAR my dogs either... When I went to court I defended myself. At his table was his wife behind him and a police officer who supposedly showed up to my house and spoke to me about my dogs. NO POLICE OFFICER CAME TO SEE ME AT ALL... I never knew I was going to court or anything until I came home one day and saw a slip on my door and was like "WTF??!!" He also said 2 other officers did same thing on seperate occassions so they wanted to fine me for 3 accounts of disturbing the peace and also have my dogs taken away. The police officer said he did not have any paperwork with him about any warning visits or whatever paperwork they have to fill out when they show up at someones house and also said the other police officers could not attend that court day. The judge basically said he thought the police officer was full of @!#$ and only fined me $10 for 1 account that the police officer said he went himself because he said he had to take the officer's word over mine. He said the fine would have also been much bigger if the officer had proff that he had spoken to me in the first place... I haven't lived there in over a year and now my house is finally selling on the 30th of May. FINALLY!! Old neighbors suck...

On another note it sounds to me like you are/were a Security Guard at a hospital... That really sucks man. I hang out with the security guards all the time at the cancer center I work at. The rules they put on security guards is so unfair. It almost makes it hard for you to do your job without fear of losing your job because someone complains that you were too rough.

Best security guard example is John Cena in "The Marine". Thats how security should be Then arrest the guy and make em pay for damages, that would make it even better.

Sucks about your car.

You wont go to court, unless its to sue your old employer

yeah maybe where you live, but around here you get the ticket and everything, no matter you go to court or not

i went for a disorderly, and the guy before me got a ticket for exibiton driving, "burning out" in his cavi with rims... He made a damn good arguement, but to no avail, he still had to pay the ticket
