what do you guys think of the coloring?
Not sure if I should go with a darker gray or not
I was bored and thought I'd paint my 3400 plenum I have here just need the rest of the engine over here (the top half is here the bottom half plus heads are at my brothers)

darker gray...... like a charcole gray look would be sweet (maybe Powdercoat it w/ a black chrome?)

the red lettering should be a nice accent since the whole motor will be gray (well I may do the block black)

all the red wires and loom make it look a lot more clustered then it is. It definitly looks nice in there though. Congrats

after the 2.8 is pulled all the red loom will be going back to black
I'll keep the red plug wires though
my engine bay will be smoothed out and painted whenever I get the rebuild on the 3400 done and pull the 2.8 out the 2.8 wont get yanked till the 3400 is ready to be dropped in

Yeah I was thinking a darker I would like the charcol gray metallic I have done interior pieces with but its not high temp paint
the current color looks like primer

Lol yeah you should paint it a flat red color and leave it like that for over a year

I think maybe a little darker wouldn't hurt, it would probably look better with the red. Good luck with the swap!
