Fiberglass dash almost done.

I re-did my dash again, since i didnt like the turnout before. Heres pics of what it looks like now.
I relocated the HVAC to the defrost vent area, shaved airbag cover, molded both lil vents on top of dash, and made a gauge pod for my air gauges.

I still need to black sand the entire dash.

Won't the HVAC be upside down like that?

Yes it is, i had it done before. Its been said a few times its upside down. Which is fine it couldnt go the other way it would not fit. Also it never gets used just didnt want to take it out, nor hide it. I use it maybe 5 times a summer.

I loathe the pod you put in the middle... ruins the clean lines.

But great work nonetheless.

yeah they need smoothed and are too long, cut em at a sloped angle and reglass em in, i do like how they are kept seperate from each other, each rounded....good work so far

I see you guys either dont have air ride or know how long the gauges are. I made the pod about 1" longer then the actual air gauge. So there still not much room to play for wires and airlnes.

^^^ya the air gauges are long with the nipple, then the lines which arent easily bent without cutting off air supply. kinda no choice

keep us posted!

yeah i think they need to do a beter gauge design for the dual needle gauges. im going to work on something similar this fall with mine basically do the same type thing but mount them lower in the dash so they dont stick up so high. im sure it will turn out nice when your done man.

For me it's a visual thing, I don't care what they are for, I don't like a gauge pod being up there no matter what. As I said it ruins the clean lines of the dash in my opinion.

But as I said, the work looks great so keep it up mang. *thumbsup*
