Well, I tried to have this done before the JCO Bash a couple weekends ago, but the paint shop took alot longer than I had anticipated, and I had to go with my stock one....anyways, heres a couple of quick pics sitting in my driveway. Im going to take better ones this weekend.
I have one more thing coming for the car, and then the exterior is DONE!...then I'll be on to performance
Comments good or bad...
P.S. I know the hood was dirty in the picture, and I've also touched up most of those stone chips in my front bumper

i say cut a vent out to make it look functional ( and maybe function a little )
but other than that it looks awesome
Wow, were you fortunate enough to get a decent hood from
DOUCHEBAG....I mean, Whiteboy?
As soon as i seen the hood i knew sec-z would be here LOL
Well, apparently I had the first one that they made, and it all looked fine and dandy when I first got it, then I found out about Justin's(Bummerz) problems with it, and I thought mine was ok. Took it to the paint booth and found out that there were tons on small pin holes in the f/g.....so the body guy had to use some sort of "special" filler so that when the heat hits the hood, that the paint doesn't bubble up. That is why I didnt have it back in time for the Bash. It cost me more to get that thing painted than it did for the hood itself!...but for being the first one, I should have suspected something like that to have happened. I didn't have any problems with Whiteboy themselves though.

other than it not being opened.... I like it.
...
great look, sorry to hear the hood was flawed like all the others that got screwed.
car looks fantastic...hope the last mod is projectors
i was just looking it over again and noticed kinda looks like there is an alignment issude with the bumper, like the passager side is close then the drivers. is this just the pics or is it like that?
looks hot. Anyway way to make that hood functional?
StreetDreamZz - You're close
lol
Ronnie - Its actually the kit that is making the gap look that way. Im going to try and find a way of fixing it. I may just pull it down with a zip-tie or something of that sort.
Everyone else - I was toying with the idea of making it functional, but in the end, I didnt want all of the water from when it rains to run into the engine bay....or I would have needed to create some sort of catch tray underneath the hood...plus it would have been extra $$ to get it cut out and it cost me enough already to get it to where it is now....so thats why I decided not to get it cut open.....maybe down the road though

Well seeing as how some of you think I should get the projectors....I went on step up and am getting the HIDs from Josh (Izn Trbl)....I bought them a long time ago, but I havent been able to get in contact with Josh to see how they are coming or if they are sent yet. If anyone knows how to reach him, could you please let me know!!! Ive tried sending emails and PM's, but Ive got nothing back from him since the beginning of May....Im getting kind of worried :S Thanks in advance

Very nice. I just love your car!

One of my favorite hoods of all time for jbodies.
