Don't laugh it was my first time doing anything with fiberglass...
The beginning, after first and a little of 2nd coat of fiberglass
DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNN
My garage caught on fire...
oh dear god youve got some major sanding ahead of you.
good start tho.
lol its burned now so its trash...dunno if I'm going to make a new one
2nd and 3rd trys always come out better, dont give up
Beware the Rouge Dragon.
I think they are missing the point here....the da*n garage caught on fire, she wasnt even done with this one...lol. Dont tell me the resin fumes caused the fire.......
At least they salvaged the box?

Well, were really not sure what caused the fire, we are assumming that is one of the possibilities...

The box was like in center of room, it is what ended up holding up the roof when it collasped haha. All I can do with it now is use the wood as a template for when I cut new pieces if I do make a new one
Its sad I had been workin on it for like two weeks trying to get the wood cut perfectly and what not.
I said a lil heat was good for it but fire i think is a lil excessive lol.... back on subject though, I highly doubt the fumes caused the fire since the fire wouldve started at the box. And that box doesnt look like it took alot of fire damage... On another note looked like a good first attempt at fiberglassing but I would lay off that kind of fiberglass matt and use fiberglass stitch matt with fleece. Comes out alot cleaner and less work at the end
Yea i did miss that point, im glad you are ok. Sorry about that.
Beware the Rouge Dragon.
That did hold up pretty good in the fire. Sucks that the blaze happened though
What else was lost? At least the Sunfire was outside I take it?

I was joking when I said at least they salvaged the box. It sux that it happened, looked like it was turning out to be a nice project and would have defiantly turned out nice in the car.
Now make another one and hopefully you learn from your mistakes on the last one (like don't leave it in a burning building
)
OMG! How much hardener did you mix into the resin to actually make something near it hot enough to catch fire??????????????????
