oh my... i bet that bitch is LIGHT AS HELL.. mine is fiberglass with a layer of CF wrapped over top, and the framing underneath is also fiberglass.

never seen an actual ALL cf hood for our cars before.

where do i get one? or can i not?

From what Jux told me, there was a GP a looonnnggg time ago... the hood has never been installed until now. He actually had it put away for a little over 5 years. Never been completely out of it's plastic, never seen sunlight. There were 2 hoods made by FI full carbon fiber, this one, and ESB's old one. The other 7 FI made were just like urs, fiberglass and the top wrapped in CF.

does the damn thing flop in the wind like nothing there? lol...

even my hood being half fg and cf molded together is WAY lighter than my stocker was, i cant even believe there's one out there lighter then that.

i just cant get over that its all CF. VERY nice pickup man.

carbon fiber is basically fiberglass.. not much weight difference at all..

like i said i have the same brand the same thing is super light tho i have the SS ram air one tho thank god it is, i think the air goes through that helps a little. when a trucker passes me it looks like damn thing is gonna come flying off i dont have pins. Good thing is has good well built hindges

I haven't noticed mine flop around at all... I just have the factory hinge holding it. I don't want to use hood pins unless I absolutely need to.

You should check out the vids they have on the fiber images website. Running over their hoods and stuff, haha. I guess they're pretty durable.

And like I told Jux, if something ever happens to the cav, I'll surely pass the hood on.
