alright so i got my car painted back in april. ive been workin on the interior alot since then and my dash held up just before i swapped in the new dash. alot of things happend since then sooo on with the pics.
now i know everybody gets cracks in their dash and up on the piece closest to the window but i dont think anybody has pulled out their dash in this many pieces
and this is after i took out a little of my anger on it
dash out
new dash !!! (03)
dash took a little work. had to trim some plastic so the cluster would fit and had to cut the steel bar behind the hvac so i can swap places with the stereo. but all in all it fit good
new carpet!! .it wasnt molded i just bought a 5 yard x 80 inch piece and glued over the existing carpet and extended it to the back. because i had a show this past weekend, the back seat was removed and cleaned up until i figure out what i want to do.
.
headliner rewrapped in faux suede
nice lil pic of the reflection from the bezel and the cluster at night
got the led's in the vents hooked up. cathodes under dash. and 6 led switches fitted into the double den under the stereo.
quick pic of the back seat area for now.
finished interior shot. i didnt want to put too much red and i think it came out pretty damn good.
new kenwood 715 flip out
crappy back seat shot
my new trunk setup with my new l7 12's.
got around to making a fiberglass dash cover for the front part by the window. came out really good. didnt get to take pics of it out of the car but ill try to some day when i have time.
. pix are kinda crappy but you guys get the idea
halos got wired up
and now for a full shot of my girl
as you can see i painted my stock wheels black...the more and more i look at them, the more i like em.
then the unthinkable happend.
just 1 week before the texas heatwave show.. i cracked my front bumper in 2 spots and put a dent in the fender.
.
but my body guy suprised the hell outta me and fixed it like new
comments welcome as always!!

I'm not a fan of painted interiors and stuff but your car pulls it off well, same thing with stock wheels, overall it looks really good, I love the front end. Sucks about the bumper and fender, what happened?
Nice! Been there done that though
. Even my factory trunk release button is functioning.
Swap consoles too!
thanks darkstars. means alot coming from a guy who puts hard work into his cars. as for the crack. i was actually driving to my friends house out in the country to pick up my interior parts .he has a driveway thats just dirt and rocks. i drove in there slow taking my time. loaded up my dash and panels. then as i was about to leave i realized that i had to go back the way i came in. i drove back slow, avoiding bumps and dips. i was about 2 feet fromthe paved road when i lady pulls up in front and checks her mail box. well me being impatient i tried to go around her in the grass and drove a foot then heard the sound of a bunch of rocks hit my bumper. got out and saw that it cracked in the same spot
. got in the car and cussed up a storm all the way to my friends house. we both get out and then i see the other crack and the dent from when the bumper flexed. so i was pretty pissed but like i said my body man worked up a miracle and got it fixed and repainted in 4 days.

Looks good. By the way I bet if you made a bunch of fiberglass covers for the area where it cracks you could easily sell them.
FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
thanks man. and yea me and my body guy plan on making a mold and start producing them locally and see how we do. because he paints too so it would be easy to get specific colors.

Fiberglass that dashpad and have it paint matched along with a steering wheel and it's golden, everything else is mint!
wow!! very well done and it is very clean looking, even with having the lambos, you are able to still pull it all off very nicely!
thanks a bunch man. i like to keep things kind of suttle and accent peices that will flow with the rest of the car. thanks!!
