Got the cavi repainted.... here's a teaser till it's all put back together still waiting on the paintshop to finish my prostock wing, B-pillars, and rims color matched. More pics to come... C&C's welcome...
BTW, the car will be wet sanded and buffed soon... should look like glass!

It's HOK black pearl... but added a bunch of metallic flake to give it a nice shimmer in the sunlight. It's an almost exact color match to carbon fiber...

Looks good, not sure about metalic in pearl. but overall looks good its a very similar outcome to what my dads factory vette has for paint.

just a thought...but the kit doesnt line up very well at all...id recommend the ww lip kit on a 00-02 ls front or a rksport IF front.

I've done the bags thing... it was cool... just alot of maintenance... and the rears have always been shaved, but not the fronts only because it's impractical for me to do so.

I heard someone say wet sand it. What grit do you use after painting? Some auto painter told me 600 grit but to
me that sounds like it should be a finer wet and dry sandpaper. What do you people think?

depending on how bad the "orange peel" is you should do 1500-2000.

to the OP, i love that color. matchs your rims nicely. cant wait to see the carbonfiber on it.
