Okay I am pretty much starting from stock here.

UPS guy came and left me a gift. You will get to see the contents later.

Taking away the red and going to green.

Gah all the sanding.

And after using some 400 grit sand paper and giving a bath they need to dry.

I will Post the finished result in about 2 days if not tomorrow.

So far.. no good

Looks to me that you're on route to having a very tacky looking interior. The idea in my opinion is to improve the look and feel, not just pick and pull all the little peices that can easily come off and slap an odd color on them. I dunno man, good luck, maybe I'm jumping the gun and it'll turn out nice.

I'm not just doing the easy pieces. I'm going to end up doing all of but the rubber filler crap. All in due time.

Well if I don't like the end result (which is all that matters to all you nay sayers) I will sad it down and go with either flat black or get new interior pieces and go back to stock. I have no problem with the sanding. You kinda get use to it after about 5 hours or so.

On a brighter note. Please feel free to state your dislike of my choice.

I dont know how well Green and black is going to go together... I typically would do something that would either match the exterior, Or be neutral and not so vibrant as to mock the paint on the car.

That said, I still respect somone who puts work into a car, whether or not its my taste and Id still like to see the outcome of the whole thing.

If youre going with a darker shade of green, from what appears in the pics, its not a bad color, if you use it moderately. I would only do it in a few subtle places and do it in a flat finish, it would look a little fugly if it were gloss... to me..

thats just my $.02.

Im sure if you take youre time and plan everything out itll look good. Hell you may even suprise some of the nay-sayers here

good luck with it, id like to see what you come up with.

I'm thinking the same thing. Hopefully you've thought it all out and have a good plan, but so far, I'm not seeing how this is going to look good.

BTW, you eat a lot of onions or something?

Well when I first got this car I was a newb and painted some of those pieces red and how bad it was, was horrible and I did no prep work. So this is an improvement.

I can appreciate that, but why not black or something that goes better?
Unless you have plans on doing more of the interior that color or something that goes with it.
